The title is also in all caps with no "...." to imply a continued sentence, yet the first post has all lower case letters to show that it really is a regular sentence, so in a sense he is saying....

"The Lincoln Navigators Say Farewell to Las Vegas Flyin' Elvis."

So as a sentence all of those words are incorrectly capitalized, hence it is a FAILED joke.

Or perhaps the joke is that the joke was a bad joke, which succeeded as a failed joke, and hence TSE is trying to level everyone? o_o

Could be, I didn't interpret it that way, it seemed to me to be an honest attempt at being a good joke.
