I did what you said and it worked. I am pretty happy with his jump of production. There is a d.e. on my team who is a beast. he was brought in to help us out. He replaced the slow builder so he is better at this stage. My guy is a slow build. I out performed him against a good opponent recently by doing what you said, and the beastly D.E. pretty much got shut out. good job bro.

PM'd you.
glad things are doing well for you! the next problem i'm trying to figure is how to create good mismatches for DEs facing OTs 45+...
i've got a few friends working on it and we have a working hypothesis which seems to be yielding their DEs results...sadly, my 42 DE was one of our testers who's formula isn't working.

will report if we get any good leads.

His DE basically has 90/70 speed/agi

Hmmm.. I'll bite-
100-70?
80-80?
110-60?

Well, 100/100 doesn't do a whole hell of a lot in higher level play.

Ah. So it's about the ratio. 90:60=3:2=120:80.

can you get to 100/100 or 120/80 without completely selling out on strength?

Strength over 60. I can't do 120/80, but 110/90 is also pretty un-impressive.

The pure speed/agility game has success at lower levels, but the higher level (45+) game seems to require more than just Speed/Agility.

Also, realize that my guys are usually matched up against players 3-6 levels higher in "competitive" games...I still generate pressure on the rare occasions that I play against equal-leveled opponents (but for some reason folks don't call those "competitive games").

Regardless, I would be interested in bluto's theory

Hmmmm I dunno about the ratio of Speed: agility, but I'm fairly certain that speed has to be a lot bigger.
My guess is you dropped agility equip, and added speed equip.
