1. Lincoln Navigators V. 11. South Bay Spartans. The Navs cruised over an weak Parma squad this week. Shonn Greene ran wild and the 2 headed QB Combo was very efficient in moving the ball. On the Defensive side Lincoln Picked up 5 sacks and 2 Ints.

SBS Played a solid first half against the Lightning but it wasn't enough to get the W. After putting up 113 of his 165 yards in the first 2 quarters Mr. Smith was held in check in the 2nd half and the Spartans Passing game couldn't pick up the slack.

Navs win 42-17

2. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 13. Dallas Vaqueros. Monmouth's Defense did Very bad things to the Bucks QB Jack Sheppard. 9 Sacks, 6 hurries, a pick and two forced fumbles for the day. Csonka was his usual beastly self and Drago actually looked like Drago again going 17-23 and 2 TDs.

3. Washington Wolfpack V 7. Bourbon Street Bullies. The used a dominating defensive effort to take out MM. Holding the Marauders high powered offense to 252 is very impressive. Partlow and Street had their Usual solid efforts and allowed the Pack to only run 10 passing plays in the win.

BSB lost their 2nd straight in a tough one to the Vikings. The Bullies tried a run heavy offense and it didn't work out very well. BSB had a shot to tie the game at the end, but missed a 55 yard field goal.

WW wins 38-21

4. Minnesota Marauders V 8. Chicago Hedgehogs. MM put up 2 late scores to make their game against WW close, but they were dominated for most of the game. The inability to get their ground game going and 27 missed tackles on D were the keys to the L for Galk's team.

The Hogs bounced back from their blowout loss to WW with a solid win over a good LVF team. The Chicago Defense Destroyed the Freebird passing attack and they used a Balanced offensive attack to control the game.

MM wins 31-24

5. San Diego Lightning V 6. HHW. The Lightning keep rolling picking up the 5th win in a row with a big 2nd half rally. After an tough first 2 quarters the SD defense stepped it up and Keith Goddard banged in 4 short TD's.

HHW looked like HHW. I don't know if it was their two NEW RB's or the opponent be a AAA team, but that was a hell of a game by the Wang clan and Animalmother.

9. Spicewood Longhorns V. 10. Las Vegas Freebirds. The Horns picked up a much needed W. After dropping 2 straight the got the hapless Rebel Yell and that equaled easy win. Bukka had his usual monster game and the Passing attack went insane with 6 BIG TD throws.

The Freebirds lack of offense cost them the game against Chicago and dropped them below .500 on the year. 179 total yards doesn't get it done in USA PRO Considering 66 of them came on one play.

12. Compton Vikings V 15 Columbus Bucks. Nice win by the Vikings over a good BSB squad. Their defense did the dirty work and they moved the ball well enough in the air to pick up the upset.


Compton wins 42-17

14. Parma V 16. RRY

Parma wins 31-10

He didn't drop the Marauders. Well done!

I was shaky on this one. SDL is looking good, BUT if HHW is back they are a beast team. This game will show who the real HHW is.

84-20 now. How bout you CV? Nice job on the 8-0 week. Spicewood vs LVF was a tough pick for me. I was close to picking SDL over HHW too but decided to just remain with HHW like I have done the whole season so far. Next week I will be picking against them vs Lincoln though.
