i've been building a pocket passer, so i haven't touched the scrambler tree. however, we also pass alot out of the backfield to HB, so i'm thinking that investing some points into DP would be worth it. anyone with any experience with this idea?

depends on your offense. I wouldnt add any to a QB until late in development though. Around level 45

alright, thanks guys. just trying to think outside the box a bit.
understandable, but i just ask myself, if this SA is maxed out, will this QB dominate? a dump pass is not even a big play, sometimes its even better that they drop it because it is often a loss of yardage.
As opposed to tight spiral or field general, where your completion percentage goes up maybe 10% or your entire offense plays the 4th quarter fresh because of FG. Those are popular for a reason.

Just because a move won't make you "dominate" doesn't mean it is worthless. With a few points into dump pass, your QB is just that much harder to sack. It depends on what kind of offense the QB is in but I don't see a problem with taking dump pass to 4.
