Here we go again. After you get use to the season 8 changes here comes more mid season. Why can't these major changes wait until the off season? Maybe it's just me but DAM. I wonder how much this will effect things.

It is very obvious that passing is broken so why should it not be fixed, The only ones who dont want things to change are the teams that have a very good Power back on their team. This fix will make the league a much better league once again. It gives other teams the chance to win games through the air like last season.
The numbers dont lie, look at the top QB's this year compared to last year, its NOT even close. Grady Ryan being the only exception(still a big drop in yards but everything else is pretty much the same)...

Even with Meth Head as a decent power back, I just hate seeing teams run the strong I offtackle vs freaking goalline D and still get 5 yards. that's retarded. the dots just need actually take up space and no matter how many tackles a power back can break, if there are 7 bodies in the hole (defenders + blockers) it should impossible to somehow squirt through and keep going.

I think the passing needed a fix, but I feel that it is terrible timing as we are halfway through the season and teams have already figured out what works and what doesn't, and to absolutely change the offense 180 degrees is absolutely unfair to teams with that good power back. Now instead of the final 8 weeks being the "down the stretch" weeks, teams are now trying to figure out new strategies once again to be successful. I know I have already scheduled another friendly with a similar opponent of PDD from SA so we can test things out, because now we need to rethink everything as if we were in the first week or 2 of the season.
Also the only teams that wanted the fix was teams that don't have a power back on their team, so the 2 sides even out don't they
. Not only that, but most power runnning teams have good QBs as well, so I am not complaining about the power running game being nerfed as much as the timing of the whole thing.
