7-1 AGAIN

1. Lincoln Navigators V 7. Chicago Hedgehogs. The Navs #1 ranked D continued to dominate their last time out, holding SDL to 9 points on 169 yards. SDL only completed 33% of their passes and had 5 picked off. While the Navs air attack has been less than proficient, their 2 headed rushing attack continues to dominate.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373221&pbp_id=7076169 Almost pick 6

Chicago got a bit of a wake up call in an 87 point loss to Monmouth. Defensively they couldn't stop anything the Monkeys threw at them and on O 17 total yards rushing and no pass blocking killed them.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373115&pbp_id=7075288 At least they got to hit Drago

LN wins 48-10

2. Washington Wolfpack V. 4. Honolulu Hurricane Warriors. WW is on cruise control offensively, solid rushing games AGAIN by Partlow and Street mixed in with an efficient passing attack keep moving the chains and putting up points. On the other side of he ball their ability to contain MR. SMITH made stopping SBS's passing game fairly simple.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373196&pbp_id=7058296 Street busts a long one
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373196&pbp_id=7059063 Partlow does the same

HHW bounced back from their first loss of the season and won a squeaker over Compton. After a big pick 6 HHW had a 23-7 lead in the 3rd quarter than had to hand on for dear life. Turnovers and a lack of passing attack are killing the Cannes offense this year.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373217&pbp_id=7058750McCrazyfeet takes it to he house

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373217&pbp_id=7061861 Jet gets the TD off of the INT.

WW wins 31-28

3. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 13. Compton Vikings. The Monkeys crushed Chicago with a heavy does of Zonk, a side order of Wolter and the return of Drago. Mix that in with a devastating defensive effort and you get an 87 point blow out.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373115&pbp_id=7070602 Wolter with a long one
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373115&pbp_id=7071187 Csonka being Csonka
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373115&pbp_id=7075928 Drago to Bobby

Compton played HHW tough and fell three points short. Great job Defensively kept them in the game. Strange play calling in the end might have cost them a shot at the win. Down 3 they ran on 7 of their final 8 plays over 2 possesions and Opted to run up the gut rather than try a 60 yard game tying field goal.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373217&pbp_id=7059396 Sena picks up the first Viking score.

Evil Monkeys win 48-17

5. Minnesota Marauders V 10. South Bay Spartans. MM has been great on D in the last 3 games Giving up 21 points total and NO TDs. Led by the #2 pass D in the league their Marauders D has become scary good. Offensively the passing attack seems to have survived the Berf and the power and speed combo at RB is rolling along.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373144&pbp_id=7076293 Frank Gore=BEAST
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373144&pbp_id=7076383 cashin Cashes in the INT for the score

South Bay took a step back in a big loss to WW. Smith was slowed down and the D blitzed for 567 by the Pack

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373196&pbp_id=7056009 Does LS ever go for more than 1.5 on the way to the end zone

MM wins 42-14

6. Bourbon Street Bullies V 15. Parma Burglars. The Bullies offense was anemic against the Longhorns. Only completing 7 of 22 passes. The ground attack was effective but couldn't get them in the endzone. Defensively they played well enough to win but a few big plays killed them.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373157&pbp_id=7057760 One of the few bright spots on the day for BSB

Parma gave up 50+ points for the 4th time in 6 games this year. That mixed in with the fact that the O has only been over 20 once show why they should be ranked 2nd to last and fighting to stay in the pro's.

BSB wins 31-14

8. Las Vegas Freebirds V 11. Dallas Vaqueros. The Freebirds did what they had to do and took out the Bucks. A solid pass rush helped contain Dr. Sheppard and the Offense ground it out.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373130&pbp_id=7068985 Biggs to K Dog
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373130&pbp_id=7071440 Bigs to McGee

HOLY 6-3 batman. 9 points scored all in the third quarter. GLB Hockey has arrived. Dallas 8+ yard advantage in the punting game was huge in this field position war.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373212&pbp_id=7060080 Pins them Deep right here
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373212&pbp_id=7060450 One of 2 huge returns by Hester to set up a score.

LVF wins 24-10

9. Spicewood Longhorns V 14. Columbus Bucks. The Longhorns D came to play and it showed in their win over BSB. Despite Bukka being held to 3.1 YPC the Longhorns were able to turn two Ints and some big stops on D into a solid win over a very good team.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373157&pbp_id=7062083 Pick that lead to a Bukka TD
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373157&pbp_id=7064899 Derek busts a long one to seal the deal.

Once again no running attack for the Bucks equaled no offense. Teams can sit back and wait for Sheppard and the Bucks can't move the ball.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373130&pbp_id=7070910 Short TD pass Woot

Spicewood wins 31-17

12. San Diego Lightning V 16. Richmond Rebel Yell.

SDL wins 35-7

Thanks Coach for the time as always!

Wolfpack/HHW seems to be the game of the week. Funny how the three of us are all grouped together.

CV, what was Lincoln the #2 Defense and not #1? I'm not being a smartass. I'm just curious how you came up with that. Nice write-up as usual.

Same. It should show how we stack up in the west.

Wouldn't be surprised at any result tbh.

I don't think your last outing was indicative of the talent level of your team bro. You guys had an off day and we stepped it up a bit.

I hate to nitpick, but we are also #1 against the run .

It should be a good game Hedgehogs.

Also, looking forward to the game HHW...definitely looks like WW/HHW is game of the week.

I think he was looking at the league in general and not just the west.
