Here's stats w/ EQ... I'm blocking for fast HB's 90/70 Speed/AGL.... can hardly stay in front of them except in the straight up the middle runs.... impossible going to the side... offense runs 60% of the time and I'm the starting FB..... What can I do, where should I start investing from here on out? I'm currently still trainging Speed/ AGL trying to get to 60/60 ish.... But I know I should keep vamping up my vision right?

What EQ and where is it?

General tips...

1. If you can afford an additional set of EQ, do so for speed. One piece, at a minimum, is a nice option until you can get speed up naturally.
2. Quick cuts is a nice SA to put a few points in.
3. get speed and agility to 60 naturally, then keep working speed... use the skill points and train stamina and confidence (both are very low IMHO).
4. It sucks that speed doesn't level naturally, but it's pretty important. You can neglect agility a little, in favor of speed, with a decent amount of quick cuts.
5. See if your HB will adjust his running style to better mesh with you (a little more elusive should help him wait for you, to set up your blocks). This isn't always an option and/or optional though.

I would aim for 70 speed and 60 agility. Blocking and vision, in the 50's, is enough for a FB to do his job. You want strength as high as possible, but also want to have good speed and decent agility. Well, it depends on what you believe, some would suggest reversing strength and blocking (I.E. blocking as high as possible, while keeping strength in the 50's). Just remember, all the strength and blocking in the world, mean nothing if you can't get a hold of anyone to block.

Right exactly, so I have exactly 53+ in both Speed and Agility not counting EQ.... I'm working on training Speed/ Agility, and I will be getting a level here Next Level: 903/1000 in no time... so I'll have 5 more real skill points to put in along with....the EQ slots I still have open, I have a base vision of 49, and I thought vision was SUPER important to get into the right holes to make the blocks so that's why I was putting some in vision... to get that to 60 or so... but I was write to assume I needed more speed/agility... I have three more pieces that I can put in as speed to get me artificially up to 59.23 should I do that?

This is what I have EQ wise:

Red Shirt
Basic red undershirt.
+4 agility

White Cleats
Basic white cleats.
+2 speed, +1 vision

Yellow Doo Rag
A basic yellow doo rag.
+1 speed, +2 vision

Owned.
Custom Item.
+6 strength
+1 to Blocking tree

Black Gloves
Basic black gloves.
+3 strength

So you tell me what to do I ahve a tiny bit of money to deal with, and im getting 5 skill points ina few days...and if i cash in 4 more bonus i'll have 6 so 3 agil/speed to work with..so tell me what the best course of action is....

My preference for EQ, is to specialize with it. At the moment, my FB has it all in strength (aside from the +3 stamina that came with his AE). I'm built to be more than a blocker, thus I'm heavily specialized in strength and breaking tackles... I'm sitting at 102 strength, 15 brusier, 15 short yd monster, +19% break tackles and 9 power thru. ATM though, I'm seriously considering changing one piece of EQ over to speed (maybe two pieces), my speed is currently 60. Changing two pieces would drop my strength to ~90 and bump my speed up to ~75.

I, personally, wouldn't split the attributes on a piece of EQ. Although, for AE I usually will... such as str/blk for my ROT, str/agi for my DE and str/blk on my LG. I also like to build an additional piece or two of EQ for an area that my player currently lacks (like agility for my ROT or speed for my FB). This allows some flexibility in your individual game planning. If my ROT is going against a speed rushing LDE, I'll swap my strength EQ out for my agility EQ. I also carry a CE for each skill tree on each player, which can also be swapped depending on match-ups. If you do spend a few dollars on the game, I would suggest doing this... I spend less than $10/mo, so I'm not breaking the bank or anything.

As for bonus tokens, never turn them in for the one skill point and temp +5 boost. You're much better off saving them to upgrade AE. Since the AE will work all the time (even in the play-offs)... besides, there's never such a thing as excess bonus tokens, because you can always work on a second and/or third piece of AE.

What I would do with your FB, is cap agility, then speed at 60 (for the additional level up increases to agility). Transfer the agility EQ over to speed, sell the vision/speed EQ and replace them with a strength EQ slot and a speed EQ slot. Also shop for a decent piece of AE (you want a good SA primarily, the +attribute is merely icing on the cake).

So you should have...
+4 speed
+4 speed
+4 strength (or an AE with +strength upgrades or you can even go strength/speed upgrades)
+4 strength
+6 strength CE

Eventually, once speed is naturally where you want it, you can start transferring those speed EQ pieces to strength.

If you're close to finishing off speed or agility via training, finish them off... otherwise just start training stamina/confidence. Once stamina gets to like 35, you can do confidence/vision or carrying/confidence. You want confidence to the soft cap if possible, but you don't need to spend points on it TBPH.

Once you get speed and agility to the 60, I'd toss a couple points in quick cut (3 or 4 is good). Then it's probably time to take strength or speed to the 3rd cap... it really depends on your philosophy though, do you want to optimize your build or contribute at a high level sooner?

I want to be the best blocker possible for my team, no individual glory at all all about helping out the quick backs on my team.

So if I get this clearly.... naturally cap agility @ 60 first, move all gear to speed or strength make sure those are full sTR or speed one way or the other and then look for AEQ.... what kind of AEQ should I be looking for specifically? Does your FB given the lower Vision find the blocks good enough? Like the right ones? and does your back actually follow you ?

Alright, I have Red Shirt
Basic red undershirt.
+4 agility (THIS WAS HERE ALREADY DECIDED TO MAYBE KEEP TO SAVE MONEY) OR SHOULD I SELL I GO SPEED?
$32,750.00

Feet
Yellow Cleats
Basic yellow cleats.
+4 speed
$32,750.00

Head
Yellow Doo Rag
A basic yellow doo rag.
+4 speed
$32,750.00

Custom
Owned.
Custom Item.
+6 strength
+1 to Blocking tree
(upload pic)

Hands
Black Gloves
Basic black gloves.
+4 strength

Right now, which gives me Strength: 71.05, Speed: 61.23, and Agility: 57.65.... should i leave that as is now, or sell the agility +4 and go +4 speed with that up to 65.... and then 53 agility, and use my SP's when I hit my next level go go natural agility?

That's basically what I would do, if I was in your situation, yes.

My FB has about the same vision that you do and I don't have a ton of issues picking up the proper assignment TBPH. The few issues that I do experience, have more to do with poor sim pathing than vision IMHO. Whether or not the HB follows you, doesn't have much to do you or your build (barring your player's inability to get in front of the HB).

As for EQ, go ahead and save your cash for now. Your attribute line looks much more respectable now. Fairly close to my level 49, season 1 FB, in-fact. By the time you hit my level, you should be head and shoulders better than me... my FB isn't a slouch either, he's a pretty good balanced FB. I can do a little of everything, which is my FB's real value...

He's looking a lot better IMHO.

My team is rebuilding so my FB's build is open while I sit on the trading block, if you want to compare... The main thing to consider though, is that I started to build him as a power back when VAs were released. Otherwise, he'd have speed and agility at close to the third cap (without EQ) and attribute boosting VAs. I'd also likely have one piece of EQ on speed and agility.

Train confidence, carrying and stamina. Keep pumping SP into your main attributes, up to the 3rd cap (strength or blocking depending on your FB flavor, plus agility and speed). Otherwise you're headed in the right direction.

Until they fix the FB, no real point. IF they fix the FB, who knows what will change?

Agility. That will help you stay in front of the HB at least until you get your first block.
