I saw a thread in another forum and I thought, hey that could be something that we could argue about. It went like this:

If there was a Pro-bowl game and East faced West, and you had to nominate an Offensive and Defensive player in your league, but not on your team, who would it be?

Once the players are argued about and hashed and rehashed, you get to argue about who would win (East vs. West).

Beasts of the East

QB-Ace Rocket (2)
HB-
FB-
WR-
WR-
TE-
OT-
OG-Burl Moore
OC-
OG-

DE
NT-
DT-Little Tex
DE-
LB-Biggest Storm
LB-
LB-
CB-Champ "Shutdown Corner" Bailey
CB-
SS-
FS-
P -

I'd start with Ace Rocket of the Bay Area Wolfpack. Here's a QB who is on a team that isn't prolific at passing and yet is #2 in yards and TD passes. He has only thrown 2 picks and has been sacked but once.

On Defense I'd say Lil Tex from the Big 12 Champions with his 3 sacks and 10 hurries has definately made his presence felt in the league.

Anyone else want to nominate for this, although pointless, positive way of recognizing your peers? Of course multiple nominations at a position are allowed.

My vote is unbiased as I am from the Western Division:

WR Sticky Hand - leading in catches and yards w/ 3TDs on the season
CB Champ "Shutdown Corner" Bailey - his name says it all!

I definitely agree with Ace Rocket.

I Agree with Champ "shutdown corner" Bailey. I think he had 23 tackles against us. Gotta like the love given to Sticky Hand and Biggest, they are making a real difference to this team. Look out for us to make a run for the playoffs

Gee did you have someone in mind, Mr. League Leading Field Goals?

Nice picks Jack. Now we need to convince them to let us form a Pro Bowl team and play against the West in a exhibition game.

My picks, based mostly on the stats available on division page but also relative to the team the individual is playing for:

QB-Smoke Vandermann (NDTB) Call me biased but with a solid 5.1 yd/a and the highest completion % in the division I just had to give it to our QB
RB-Zander Moore (B12C) Has to be, great ypc and averaging 100 yards a game
FB-Pluto Mars (B12C) Couldn't find anyone better, a good power runner with good blocking ability
WR-Chocolate Undies (DS) An excellent average per catch and able to add yards after the catch
WR-Sticky Hands (GT) A big player on the Greensboro offense, gets thrown a lot and consistently makes good yards
TE-Freaky Bigman (BAW) With 4 TDs this season, he's a great option in the redzone with a solid average yardage
LOT-Bubba Crash (IW) No sacks allowed yet this season, great work at left tackle
OG-Jack Paver (PD) Excellent run blocking guard
C-JT Swanlinski (LL) A solid center, leading the o-line by example
OG-Burl Moore (B12C) You can't argue with 112 pancakes through 9 games. Well I certainly wouldn't like to to this guy's face
ROT-Duke Moore (B12C) Another Moore, another solid o-lineman with plenty of pancakes to boot

D-line-No time to do this now, will try and find some time later
LB-Spyro Sack (BB) Had to get a BB player in somewhere. Solid performance both in coverage and against the run from this guy so far this season
LB-Hurts When I Tackle (NS) Plenty of tackles and non missed, this guy keeps Northeast together on defense
LB-Eric Everhard (TTS) Makes a lot of plays, rarely misses a tackle
CB-Billie "White Shoes" Johnson (FL) 2 picks, plenty of PDs and great a great returner on special teams already with 5 PR TDs in the season
CB-Champ "Shutdown Corner" Bailey (DS) 35 PDs, 2 picks, 2 forced fumbles and leading the division in tackles...no real decision needed on this one
FS-Klopp McKlopper (LEM) Helps out a weak defensive unit by making a lot of tackles and covering deep effectively
SS-Strongy Safety (WM) Always able to spot plays developing and get in a position to make the tackle. Doesn't miss many either

How about that Pull Muhwanker guy. I think he'd make a good reserve.

No love for the rookie CB Sofa King Solid? He has put up some great stats, and remember tackles at the CB position at not always a good thing...tackles can mean giving up receptions.

I vote Saber Stelco (CB on the Denver Stallions), he had the only INT and played great in our playoff game.
