Got these out a little later than usual, so thanks for your patience. A special thanks to all those that kept interest in helping me make these rankings.

1. Washington Bullets
remus7x - Undefeated reigning champs, game against GB should tell us more about Washington than the previous 4 games.
coachviking - Still riding high after the title run.
xManning1018x - Undefeated champs are undefeated.
Sik Wit It - The defending champs are rolling again at the start of the season. They look strong as ever, but haven't really been tested yet with the gutted Madcats and the weak Bucks, Red Wolves, and Rage. Their upcoming games will be a real test with Green Bay, Elvis, C^4, OTR, and the Hammer all in a row.

2. Honolulu Hurricane Warriors
coachviking - Less WANG same results
CTap - Always an incredible team and this season looks to be no different
JTD - Neck and neck with Lincoln for the top spot, ground and pound from HHW is back in full effect. If you cant stop the run this season, dont even bother to show up to your game with them. They will be tested by a MEM squad that will be in must win mode to avoid dropping their 2nd game early in the season tomorrow.
remus7x - They look incredibly solid so far, as usual

3. Lincoln Navigators
xManning1018x - Nine interceptions in four games.
remus7x - Solid rushing attack is to be expected, the defense is playing lights out and being very opportunistic, forcing 12 turnovers in 4 games
JTD - Probably the most balanced team in the West. They get it done with a balanced O and a suffocating defense. They get the 2 spot due to their wins over MM and OFG already.
coachviking - Looking solid as Ever. Will be one of the teams to beat in the west

4. Cincinnati Shockers
JTD - Almost identical in philosophy to Lincoln, even down to the origination of many of the agents and owners coming from GID back in season 1. It's just business as usual to the Eastern Conference bridesmaids of the last two seasons.
xManning1018x - A classy team that knows how to win.
PP - They appear to remain the team I thought they were: solid in every single area.
Sik Wit It - Very solid win over OFG. They've had it a bit easy, but the meat of their schedule is still coming up.

5. Washington Wolfpack
coachviking - Best of the NOOBS in USA PRO
PP - We all knew that slow builds would eventually invade USA Pro in force. I strongly suspect this is just the 1st wave.
JTD - Painmaker's boys are making some noise int heir first season in the Pros, having coasted to 4 straight wins with solid margins. They will see their first major test in three weeks when they host HHW which hopefully will be a battle of 7-0 squads.

6. Detroit Demon Lions
PP - I think the way TSE wants his D guys built has been MASSIVELY helped by Bort's new vision of str & tkling meaning something.
Carnage - We all knew it wouldnt take TSE long before DDL was back at the top of the East.. after a shaky start early last season they picked it up towards the end and have kept that momentum going into this season..
CTap - Haven't played any of the top teams in East.
Sik Wit It - This takes care of the last of the 4-0 teams. Only reason they're at the bottom of the 4-0s is their strength of schedule. Solid wins over the Yotes and Gamblers. Their next 3 games should really test them.

7. Monmouth Evil Monkeys
PP - Perhaps no team was hurt more by Bort's new vision than MEM. Still an extremely good team that I believe will get stronger as the ssn goes along and they put points into their areas of need on D.
Carnage - Well, Monmouth is Monmouth lol..Whether they win or lose you still get the same guys who oddly I personally cant help but like..I wouldnt be surprised if their opening loss was their only one of the season.
xManning1018x - MEM ranked under DDL! Maybe CV should invest in TSE's strategy guide after all.

8. Green Bay Maulers
JTD - A perennial power in the East, GB was upset in week 2 by the Elvi in a turnover filled afternoon. Since then they look to have righted the ship, but face a huge test tomorrow as they host the Champs in Green Bay.
Sik Wit It - Only loss is to the Elvis by a FG. Quality wins over C^4 and OTR. This team is picking up where they left off last season.
CTap - Probably better than this ranking tbh. Will likely finish closer to 5-6 IMO
xManning1018x - They have a gay DE with an endorsement from a dance club... QBs beware.

9. Bourbon Street Bullies
xManning1018x - Riverboat Gambler averaging 90 yards per game and they're still 3-1. I guess when you work with the same guys season in and season out, you'll find a way to win.
CTap - Probably won't finish this high with no passing attack and power HBs on the upcoming schedule. But I would like our chances vs the other teams ranked around us today.
remus7x - Vastly improved from last year imo, game against Lincoln would have been much closer if they would have stuck to the run more.
Sik Wit It - Their defense has looked a lot stronger this season besides the slip-up against Lincoln. They shut out the turd coast offense, and held their previous opponents under 2 TDs.

10. Over The Rhine Red Dots
CTap - Not sure about these guys. MEM win was impressive, others were vs lowly-ranked teams. Green Bay looks to have handled them fairly easy.
xManning1018x - Beat MEM. Not many USA pro first timers can say that.
JTD - JK's team started off with a bang, upsetting MEM in week 1 and followed up with routes on the Rage and Cats before losing a stunner at home as Green Bay brought them back to Earth. They get a chance to rebound this week against a playoff team from last year in the Elvi.

11. Carolina Hammer
remus7x - Defense dropped the ball against the Woodys, but otherwise they've shown they came to prepared for pro.
xManning1018x - Defense needs to be more explosive. Good addition to the east, though... although I doubt they'll have this spot come playoffs.
JTD - They suffered their first loss last week in an overtime shootout with the Woodys. They get a chance to redeem themselves this week against CCCC before hosting the Shockers in week 6.
Ctap - Another team that has played pretty well thus far. Could well end up much higher than this.

12. Chicago Hedgehogs
JTD - They only have one loss, but it is a big one to HHW. The new kids need to figure out what went wrong before they face off against MEM in two weeks.
Sik Wit It - The Hogs offense has been firing on all cylinders until they hit the brick wall that is HHW. Still unproven against the top Pro teams, but they've shown they can easily beat middle of the pack to lower tiered Pro teams.
xManning1018x - Held to 2.5 ypc and 40% completions against HHW. Will need to step it up against MEM week 6 to prove they can hang with the best of the West.

13. Minnesota Marauders
Sik Wit It - Marauders are having some problems starting their season off like the last one. They suffered 2 close 5 point losses to the Navs and the Hammer. Good win over the Freebirds puts them just ahead of Las Vegas.
Carnage - They seemed to have a slight stumble in the beginning of the year but Galk and Co and found there stride and look poised to be good the rest of the way. They could easily be a top 5 team in the coming games.
CTap - Defending USA Pro West champs are off to an up-and-down start but have the minds to right the ship
xManning1018x - Will end up higher than this, but can't ranked higher because of record.

14. Spicewood Longhorns
JTD - If they can get through the next two games with wins against MM and BSB, they will be have to be taken serious.
xManning1018x - Lost to the only veteran team they played (MEM) and were crushed by the Wolfpack. A tough opening schedule makes their 2-2 record understandable.
Sik Wit It - Good win in the rematch of the AAA2 championship, and a solid win over Compton. Their losses to Wolfpack and the Monkeys are excusable, but they're going to need to win over the top-tier teams sooner or later.

14. ***Official*** Footballguys
Carnage - I dont quite know what is going on with OFG but I wouldnt count them out yet. they are still a very dangerous team capable of beating anyone.
xManning1018x - A 1-3 team that deserves to be in the top 16. Hulk probably should've held on to all them VAs.
PP - This is a joke, but their current record can't put them higher yet. I'd be shocked if they aren't a top 10 team by the time the POs roll around, and may well be a top 5, IF they can beat DDL next game.

16. Columbus Woodys
xManning1018x - A poor running game will come back to bite them in the ass when they face the powers that be in the East.
JTD - Coming off the huge OT win against Carolina, things dont get any easier for the Woody's as they get to visit Cinci.
Sik Wit It - Good win over the Hammer. They also played Spicewood close, and won over the solid Gamblers.

17. Chocolate City Cha Chings
JTD - Last seasons AAA1 champs have been rudely introduced to the Pros by HHW and GB, a bye win in week 2 and an escape last week against the Elvi has shown me little so far. I reserve judgment on them until later in the season.
xManning1018x - Nothing really stands out about CCCC. They have a good control over missed tackles, which is nice considering the damage a Greene or Csonka can cause on an unready D.
Carnage - The new guys to the east certainly didnt get it easy drawing HHW and Maulers as 2 of their first 3..and will have their work cut out for them with Carolina, Red Dots and Bullets in their next 3.

18. Las Vegas Freebirds
CTap - Having Tito Mota should set them apart from the crowd in the powerback era.
Carnage - When the Freebirds are on..they are awesome..and when they arent you really dont know what team your looking at.
PP - Could EASILY see them moving up.
JTD - Getting a free win to start the season off helped, but they did beat a solid Compton squad before running into the buzz saw that is MM and the Wolfpack. Things dont get much easier as they head to Na'leans to face off against BSB.

19. South Bay Spartans
Sik Wit It - This team is surprisingly a lot stronger looking than last season. They are not so one-dimensional anymore. They have played some of the best teams really closely; within a TD of HHW and MEM.
PP - Much, much, much better than their record, IMO. They will end higher than this.
remus7x - Another 1-3 team that is much better than their record. Two really close loses to HHW and MEM makes you wonder what might have been.
xManning1018x - Close loss to MEM, in a game where Larry Smith had 160 yards on the ground. Can run the ball on anyone.

20. Compton Vikings
xManning1018x - A team that can safely be ignored both on the field and on the forums. I kid... I kid.
JTD - A fun bunch that is trying to challenge MEM this season for loadest in the forums. If they can figure out how to win consistently to back it up, I think everyone will take them a bit more seriously. Walk before you run boys
Sik Wit It - This loud-mouthed team hasn't really backed up all their talk this season yet. They had relatively close losses to good teams in Spicewood and the Freebirds. They won against a not-so-good Continentals team, and let Parma put up their highest points this season while being held to the lowest points scored on Parma yet.

20. Rhode Island Red Wolves
xManning1018x - A team that I always expect more from. They picked up some nice FAs this offseason and should be making more noise in the East.
Sik Wit It - Solid win over the Yotes...struggled to a win over the Continentals. Need to make some improvements if they want to compete with the best in the East.
Carnage - Rhode Island is a team that is gradually getting better and one that will knock you in the mouth if you decide you want to look past them..tough squad they have there.

22. Las Vegas Flyin' Elvis
JTD - Solid team, but I never know which version of them will show up, sexy, in his prime Elvis or fat, dead on his toilet Elvis.
CTap - No idea what to think of LVFE. Some days I think they are very underrated and others I think they are overrated (although this ranking probably is not overrating them)
xManning1018x - Beat Green Bay by a field goal, and lost to three newcomers. A confusing team.

23. San Diego Lightning
JTD - Newcomers to the league that look to still be finding their way in the Pros. Shutting out Dallas last week seems to show that you cant take them lightly.
PP - May well be much better than this.
xManning1018x - Beat two lower ranked teams, and lost to two quality ones. Meh.
CTap - Two wins in a row, including dominating Dallas, has them on the rise IMO. Still a ways to go though.

24. Kalamazoo Coyotes
Sik Wit It - Struggling this season to say the least. Their only win is over a team struggling even more than them; the Rage.
JTD - The Yotes are the Yotes, for better or worse. They always seem to start off slow and get better as the season goes along, and they are always good for an upset win or two every season that raises eyebrows.
xManning1018x - Four close games, but should be better than 1-3. Could make a run for playoffs as they have in the past. With K-Zoo, you never know.

25. Las Vegas Gamblers
xManning1018x - Seem to have brought over some new talent. Hopefully they'll turn it around.
Sik Wit It - It was hard ranking the 0-4 teams, but I think this is the best one out there. They played the Shockers closely, and were relatively close to BSB and DDL.
PP - it's a flat out shame to rank them this low. Their schedule has been brutal and they are far from getting blown out.

26. Dallas Vaqueros
CTap - Definitely a contender for most improved team in USA Pro, even if they don't continue to win about half of their games
Sik Wit It - Won against the Rage and Bucks, but those are 2 of the worst teams. They still need work on their D if they want to stay competitive. Still though, a much improved team from last season, and they almost already have as many wins as they did all last season.
JTD - Where has Romeo been this season?

27. Parma Burglars
Sik Wit It - Yep. Disappointment continues for the Burglars after their successful season 6. When will they get it together?
CTap - The league's quietest team is quite the enigma to me. Are they even actively playing GLB these days? I have no idea. They have talent and great GLB minds though…
JTD - How does a sister team of WSI and the Benitos show up so poorly in the Pros? I just dont get it.
xManning1018x - Brutal opening schedule, but the loss to Compton isn't excusable as the other three.

28. Richmond Rebel Yell
JTD - The 3rd Coast seems to be recovering from the hurricanes. Hopefully I'll be able to give some of their WRs homes in the off season
CTap - Bort ran out of nerf ideas, so season 8 is the year of the death of the vertical passing game. Rest in Peace Third Coast Offense.
xManning1018x - The Turd Coast Offense has amassed exactly one passing touchdown in four games.

29. Columbus Bucks
Sik Wit It - They've had kind of a tough schedule, but also some below average teams on the schedule...they've failed to perform. They might be fighting for relegation this season.
xManning1018x - Jack Sheppard provides some entertainment for the Bucks but he can't support the team by himself.
CTap - Holloway's guys always seem to play better than their record indicates. This season might be more of the same.
JTD - Lets see if the old boys can stave off relegation for one more season. These are the New Orlean Saints of GLB

30. Gridiron Rage
xManning1018x - Not giving up on these guys. Fight, Rage, fight!
PP - See them getting better as the ssn goes along.
Sik Wit It - With a newly imported roster, you'd think they'd be a little better. It could be their chemistry, but their D has been getting abused this season.
JTD - A playoff team last season that has just gotten off to a horrible start this season. Seems to point to SIM/AI troubles.

31. Philadelphia Continentals
Carnage - I do think that they are on the verge of being a very good team..they just need that piece to put them over the hump.
JTD - Im just not sure 12th and CV can keep this group out of relegation this season
CTap - Have played a tough schedule, but haven't shown out so well yet either.
xManning1018x - Only one interception and three overall turnovers in four games. Defense needs to step it up. Offense as well...

32. Kentucky Madcats
CTap - I understand justafish had some tough extenuating circumstances this past offseason. Tbh, it might not have mattered either way though. USA Pro is LOADED this year.
xManning1018x - Would have been relegated either way imo.
JTD - Good luck in AAA.
PP - Just don't have the dots.

Season 8 looks to be a hell of a season.

I find it most interesting that there are 5 teams ranked below us that got votes in the poll to win it all, yet we didn't get 1 vote for that but are higher than those 5 in this poll.

Perhaps, cause one of the polls has to be jacked up, so take your pick!

There is a big difference between being ranked 5th and being picked to win it all.

It comes down to this poll is about where the committee feels your team is now while the poll is about how your team will be playing at seasons end.

fun read

i like DDL where they're at.....if you look at the stats, their passing game looks to be clicking at a time when most teams are struggling mightily

nicely done. we'd love to crack the top 10, but after our loss to columbus, i can't argue that we should be in there yet. big game for us against the CCCC's tonight.

Anybody know what the HELL we are doing right...let me know b/c it all looks wrong right now. How do we go from a decent squad to a piece of squat in one season? Bort, I'd love to meet you man.

Your schedule so far hasn't done you any favors for one.
