7-1 last week still trying to hit the 8-0 this season.

1. HHW V 4 Monmouth Evil Monkeys. The Cannes rolled again, this time showing Chicago that they weren't in AAA anymore. Solid ground attack as always with just enough short passing to keep teams honest. The O combined with an aggressive D is making HHW look like the team to beat in the West so far.

The Monkeys held on to win a tight one over the Spartans. While they were unable to stop Mr. Smith, they were able to roll with a bend but don't break style on D which resulted in 5 field goals against them. This added to a +2 turnover margin gave them the hard fought win.

Evil Monkeys win 31-28

2. Lincoln Navigators V 13. Dallas Vaqueros. The Navs blew open a close game by out scoring the Bucks 35-0 in the fourth quarter. Two Defensive touchdowns and a heavy dose of Shonn Greene led the way.

Dallas could do nothing right in getting blown out for the second straight week. Getting outgained by 400+ in this one. After a scoreless first quarter it was all Hedgehogs.

Navs win 54-10

3. Washington Wolfpack V 14. Parma Burglars. The Pack continues to roll through their first season in USA PRO. They dominated the Longhorns on both sides of the ball. If you complete 64% of your passes and average 5.2 yards per carry on the ground you aren't going to lose many games.

The Burglars lost there 4th straight, but at least they looked like a decent team in this one. The outgained the Vikings but were doomed by their inability to protect their QB and 3 interceptions.

WW wins 49-21

5. Bourbon Street Bullies V 7. Las Vegas Freebirds. The Bullies bounced back from their first lost of the year with a solid defensive showing in shutting out RRY. Out gaining the Yell by nearly 300 yards. If they didn't have to settle for 5 FG's the score would have been much worse.

The Freebirds struggle on offense again not being able to get anything going against MM. If it wasn't for 2 Minnesota turnovers this one could have been even worse. 2 straight weeks of only scoring one touchdown isn't a good sign.

BSB wins 31-13

6. Minnesota Marauders V 11. Spicewood Longhorns. The Marauders dominated LVF in every facet of the game. Picking up almost 260 more yards and holding them to 9 points.

Spicewood was pushed around yesterday. The couldn't really get Bukka rolling on the ground and their air attack was spotty. Defensively 27 missed tackles killed them.

MM wins 42-17

8. Chicago Hedgehogs V 10 San Diego Lightning. The Hogs ran into the HHW buzzsaw and it wasn't pretty. It's hard enough to beat the Cannes, but there is no way in hell it happens when you throw 3 INT's. A total lack of running game forced Chicago to go with 62 passes, most of them not very successful.

The Lighting rolled to their 2nd convincing win in a row. They have really stepped it up on both sides of the ball and look like they can do some damage in the west now. Their offense is clicking on the ground and in the air and the D is Rock solid led by an impressive pass rush.

9. South Bay Spartans V 12 Compton Vikings. South Bay gave Monmouth all they could handle. If it weren't for some untimely turnovers it might have been a different outcome. Back to back strong efforts in losses to top teams shows what the Spartans are all about

Compton was fortunate that the QB for Parma is color blind. 3 Picks helped them overcome a poor showing on offense.
