I went 5-3 last week, bringing my record thus far to 15-6. I'm consistent, at least. Now 8 more games for your delight!

Atlanta Dirtybirds (8-1) vs. Montana Carnage (5-4)
The Carnage hope to make 5 wins in a row against the Atlanta Dirtybirds, who have lost just once all year. Montana will need to find a way to break through Atlanta's 8th ranked rushing defense, while at the same time exploiting their 20th ranked pass D. Atlanta's 7th ranked passing game and explosive offense will need to help them score points against Montana's 15th ranked scoring defense.
Prediction: Atlanta 24, Montana 17

Portland Aftershocks (7-2) vs. Riverside Revolution (4-5)
Portland has won 5 of their last 6 outings, while Riverside has lost 5 of their last 6. Portland's defense is dominant, and that spells trouble for a Revolution squad that has failed to score more than 7 points a game for 6 weeks. Look for the Aftershocks to capitalize on their 2nd ranked rushing attack and 4th ranked rushing defense, and an offense averaging 4.4 yards per play.
Prediction: Portland 38, Riverside 0

Dallas Longhorns (6-3) vs. Fort Worth Red Raiders (4-5)
The Longhorns are coming off a close loss to the Aftershocks, while the Red Raiders ended a 3 game losing streak with a shutout against the Hawks. Fort Worth will need to rely on it's 8th ranked passing offense to win, while Dallas is leaning on its 6th ranked rushing offense to keep the Red Raiders on the sidelines as much as possible.
Prediction: Dallas: 23, Fort Worth 14

Coruscant Death Stars (5-4) vs. Louisiana Ragin Cajuns (7-2)
Both teams are coming off of tough losses hoping to rebound. The Death Stars lost to Sacramento on the road, while Louisiana was upset by Minnesota at home. These are two teams that provide a fairly even matchup when looking at yardage differential, point differential, yards per play, as well as several other stats. This may be a game that comes down to who has the ball last.
Prediction: Louisiana 17, Coruscant 14

Minnesota Lumberjacks (3-6) vs. Houston Wave (0-9)
Houston is still looking for its first win, but they will need to beat a Lumberjacks squad that came out of the Bayou victorious against the Ragin Cajuns. Minnesota has seen a renaissance in their last 4 games, going 3-1 in the stretch and scoring 10 touchdowns, compared to 0-5 and 3 TDs in the first 5. Houston will need to step up on all fronts to make a mark in the win column.
Prediction: Minnesota 27, Houston 7

San Francisco Hawks (2-7) vs. Gotham City Punishers (3-6)
Both teams were shut out last week. San Francisco was blanked by the Red Raiders, while the Punishers were goose-egged by the Carnage. Both teams look to score this week. Look for San Francisco to rely on their 2nd ranked pass defense, while Gotham City tries to jump start it's 15th ranked rushing game. Don't expect lots of offense, as the two teams combined score 16 points per game.
Prediction: Gotham City 10, San Francisco 6

Mid-Pac Warriors (2-7) vs. Seattle Fish n Chips (7-2)
The Warriors stopped a 6 game skid last week against St. Paul, while the Fish n Chips shamed and humiliated the Revolution. Seattle's 3rd ranked passing offense is salivating over its matchup against the Warriors 32nd ranked pass defense. Mid-Pac will need to find a way to run the ball against the Fish n Chips' 6th ranked rush defense to keep them off the field and make this game competitive.
Prediction: Seattle 42, Mid-Pac 6

St. Paul Shockers (1-8) vs. Sacramento SS Psychos (8-1)
St. Paul is mired in a 7 game losing streak, while the Psychos are tied for first in the conference. The Shockers will need their rushing defense, ranked 31st in the league, to step up against the Psychos three headed attack, which is the 3rd ranked rush offense in the league. St. Paul also needs their offense to come to life against a Sacramento defense which still gives up only 2.3 yards per play.
Prediction: Sacramento 28, St. Paul 0

Enjoy!

I am looking forward to the Atlanta-Montana game. We have won four in a row and I think that we at least have a shot to upset the best team in the conference

I believe that is merely coincidence as opposed to a planned prognostication.

Good game to Atlanta, we gave you a run for your money but couldn't pull off the upset. We have competed pretty well against the top teams. We lost to the Psychos by one and the dirtybirds by a TD. I just wish we could have those first two games back.

What the Cajun's owner did before the game gave me more respect for them then winning or losing a game ever could.

Claylick Conflagration has my respect as he brought a cheater to my attention that was taking game plans from our team board and sending them to our opponent. I can't confirm that this isn't the only time it's happened but to do if for one game and not the other doesn't make much sense. I've contacted the Admin's about it but mad props to Claylick and the Cajun's!
