1. HHW V 7. Chicago Hedgehogs. The Warriors got a serious test from the Spartans last time out. They hung on for a 7 point win and were able to slow down SBS's newly potent passing attack. Plays like this make it easy to forget about the WANG TWINS in the backfield.

The Hedgehogs moved up to 3-0 with a dominate performance over the Vaqueros. Chicago's Offense was extremely balanced in putting up 677 yards and there D line was in the backfield all day long.

HHW wins 49-34

2. Lincoln Navigators V 16. Columbus Bucks. The Navs opened up a can of WHUP ASS on BSB today. They used their ball control offense to dominate the play count 103-65. Their ball hawking D chipped in with 4 picks.

Columbus' total lack of a running game doomed them in their loss to the previously winless Lightning. As usual the passing of Jack Sheppard was the only highlight for the Bucks.

Navs win 49-21

3. Washington Wolfpack V 5. Spicewood Longhorns. The Pack used a solid ground attack to control the ball throughout the game, solid lead blocking by Stonewall Jackson(21 pancakes) led the way. Throw in a big play by Street and LVF didn't stand a chance. Defensively WW held them under three hundred yards total.

Spicewood bounced back from their loss to Monmouth with a nice win over the Vikings. Their ground attack made up for their inability to protect their QB. Bukka showed why he is one of the best POWER backs in GLB, if the hole is too small the big man just runs over people.

WW wins 35-24

4. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 10. South Bay Spartans. Monmouth looked like the Evil Monkeys of old in their win over Parma. Csonka ran over anything in his way and Wolter ran around them. It was nice to see the return of MERLIN.

South Bay lost a tough one to #1 HHW, they did a solid job slowing down the Cannes running game but it wasn't enough to win. It was nice to see MR SMITH putting up a solid game.

Monmouth wins 42-17

6. Bourbon Street Bullies V 15. Richmond Rebel Yell. You can't throw 4 picks and expect to win in USA PRO. The Bullies tried to go deep and paid for it, it worked once in a while but not enough to make it effective.

The Rebel Yell put up a solid fight against MM. Their Defense kept them in it despite their offenses inability to hang onto to the ball.

BSB wins 38-21

8. Las Vegas Freebirds V 9. Minnesota Marauders. LVF lost a tough one to the Pack. A total inability to move the ball in the air killed any chance of them winning. They were able to pressure the Packs QB's, using the Safety blitz, but it wasn't enough.

Galk's squad picked up a much needed first win. In normal Marauder style nothing came easy and they won despite being out gained. Two big turnovers by RRY were key to the MM victory.

Minnesota wins 31-28

11. Dallas Vaqueros V 14. San Diego Lightning. Dallas' lack of D and inability to stop the pass rush cost them big time today. An occasional bright spot from the air attack wasn't enough to help

The Lightning picked up their first W of the year by put together an all around solid game. O,D and special teams all stepped it up in this one.

SDL wins 31-30

12. Parma Burglars V 13. Compton Vikings. Parma was pushed all over the field by Monmouth. Aside from Dan Dakota getting something on the stat line it wasn't pretty.

Compton Lost another tough one today. After Jackson poor passing game they might want to go back to Hunter Stubbs at QB.

Not that I'm insulted, since HHW only has had 3 regular season losses since season 4. I'm just psyched we already exceeded the 2-14 prediction.
