A former sack champion who felt the wrath of the Nerf-Hammer last season. The first two games of this season (and the scrimmages) were no different: couldn't do very much at all against comparably leveled human opponents:

But then...i made a fairly radical change to him. i played those first 3 games @ level 32 (leveled up after game 3) and was matched up against a LT who's 3 levels lower than my DE.

7 sacks, 4 hurries.

It's only 1 game so far...so there's nothing conclusive...but i'll keep you posted.

I don't know if I've been cool with you but I'm still gonna PM you . I think we all know you must've just put all of your SPs strong base/wall/big sack for the big change.

by taking a smpling of my now-flooded inbox, i'd say that there's TONS of us who've felt the wrath of the Nerf... strangely, few have tried to alter their build to beat it...

(i should say though, i don't think we can beat it...OTs just trump DEs in GLBs current setup...)

however, i've been able to (with the help of very patient team owner who wants his stud DE back to his old self) switch my configuration between 3 different types and thusfar, have some data to draw conclusions that 1 of them is less-Nerfed than the other 2.

if you watch eric stratton rush chairman's replays from game to game this season and at the end of last season, you'll be able to see the differences between the 3.

that is definitely Wall in action imho

It looks like this was the matchup:

OT Derek Boomtown 15 pancakes
DE eric stratton rush chairman 7 tackles 7 sacks 4 hurries

He was just too damn slow to even get a hand on your DE during those plays. I'd be interested in seeing what happens against agile LT builds.

You mean a pixel, since they dont have hands, the LT was too slow to get a pixel on the DE.

i actually don't mind if eric stratton rush chairman is planted on his ass (err...pixels) as long as he's productive.

high confidence (to resist morale-crushing pancakes) is part of his setup.

(that OT btw only gave up 1 sack in the 2 prior games...to a level 30 guy that he pancaked 28 times...in his other game he pitched a shutout against a level 28 RDE and pancaked him 5 times)

Meh! There seem to be a few workable changes, my DE looks to be producing after changes yesterday, is just a matter of gettting a deep enough pool of test data to prove what we're seeing.

(btw, i bet that posting Leto's attributes made plenty of agent's shat themselves...since they don't look as good as him and are Nerfed...if Leto is feeling the Nerf, then their builds are screwed...)

I think you might be onto something I might try it.

Also hell yeah he is feeling the nerfs. the only sacks he has all year are off of hb screens that some retards are still running lol.

Well, i'll be the first to say that i'm not exactly reinventing the wheel with my results...

but hopefully you can see how i was able to try each of the in-vogue builds and have as close to an apples-to-apples comparison to attempt to find out which was "least-Nerfed"

update:

game against a LT 2 levels lower... i'm 33 he's 31...he'd given up 3 sacks this season so far.

i got him for 3 sacks and 1 hurry

so that's 10 sacks and 5 hurries in two games since the latest switch.

will post further data as i get it.
