I have a natural 9 first step and rolled a first step AE, am i better off looking for something else or is it at least somewhat useful to go over the 10 mark?

look for something else, imo. try to get quick cut.

you'd be much better served increasing another SA than increasing FS since you got 9 natural in it.

I'd take the FS piece in your situation only if it had extra +speed on it.
