Over 59 in catching.
Level 2 Sticky Hands SA.

I know his jumping nees help, but he is dropping alot of passes when there is nobody around him and it's thrown right to him. Is this strictly a confidence issue?

Last game he had three catches and three drops (and at least 3 other passes to him that were just uncatchable). I need him to just catch the damn ball and fall down!

Probably vision and confidence.

I have heard the carry has something to do with the catching/drop formula.

My TE has con/car<20 and rarely drops any passes, he does have vision at about 55 though.

I got Vision:38, Confidence:22 and Carry:19. I don't drop many at all.

i know part of it does deal with the QB and how his throw's affect placement of the pass and drops. But overall it tends to be the confidence that hurts most. According to Bort carrying has nothing to do with catching the ball. Only after the fact.

Build is open. Oh... you mean that whole extra right click to go to my only tight end. Sorry. Here is his link:

I think it is vision. I am having the same problem. If you look at the changelog, you will see that "WR must pass a vision check to see where to go on bad passes"

What in god's name made you decide that 30 stamina by level 12 was at all necessary or a good idea in any capacity? Hint: It was a terrible idea.

Oh, and the reason you're dropping passes is because you're level 12. In the long term, your catching is probably going to be fine. Vision would be nice, but the biggest things you need to do is to get faster and have a better QB throwing you the ball, which will only happen in time. Personally, I think you screwed up HUGE by adding so much stamina so early on, but the build is still salvageable I suppose.

He was the only TE on a PeeWee league last season. He probably avg nearly 100 plays a game and needed the stamina (hell, I even had him wearing all stamina equip last season!). Still always ended with 10 energy every game. Made him almost useless in the fourth quarter.

Here are prime examples of the kind of drops he's getting:

2nd Quarter 3rd and 16:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=449922&pbp_id=5229205
Wide open and could have walked to the first down marker. Dropped.

3rd Quarter 3rd and 10:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=449922&pbp_id=5230495
Again he was wide open. He was already past the first down marker and could have gone for 20 yards. Dropped.

Both resulted in NOT converting on 3rd down and forcing his team to punt.
59+ catching, Lvl 2 SA sticky hands. What the hell is wrong?!?!

don't worry about it dude, its do to our level. your agility, vision, confidence, carrying, and strength all suck right now, and they all play into your catching chance to varying degrees.

agility, vision, strength, confidence, carrying is the order of importance I would rank these in order to make a catch

Wouldn't catching be important to make a catch?
