- East St Louis Tire Fires (2-0) - ESL might have the best special teams unit in SE Asia Pro, and they are damned lucky they do because it's saved them 2 weeks in a row. The offense needs to break out of its slump, and the D needs to play with more consistency.

- Kamakura Katanas (2-0) - Very good team that is on the brink of elite. They have arguably the best TE in SE Asia, a great QB and running game. The defense can play with anyone. Kamakura has a chance to claim the top spot and gets to play at home this week. This team has the talent to take that next step, now they just need to make it a reality.

- Singapore Marauders (2-0) - Always a contender, and they got even better this season with some new faces. I'm not familiar with Mack Slaughter yet, but for him to jump past not only Light Movement, but star Meth Head on the depth chart is impressive. Jon Blaze is one of the best wideouts in the league, and the defense is always good.

- Pa Dong Dragons (1-1) - This team reminds me of the Dallas Cowboys. Big names, big personality's, lots of talent. One of these seasons you have to think they play in the Super Wok right? After a win vs Bandar could this be it?

- Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates (1-1) - Will the Super Wok loser curse take effect? There offense was shutdown, and if weren't for two defensive scores Pa Dong would have run away with the game. They face archrival ESL in week 4.

- Krungthep Garudas (2-0) - This is a team that impressed me all last season, but just wasn't quiet ready yet. With a season under there belts, I think they will have a much better year and should be in the running for a top 4 spot.

- Manila Hitmen (1-1) - The Hitmen are always dangerous and should make the playoffs. A loss to the Garudas might come back to haunt them come seeding time.

- Lost City Idols (1-1) - Played ESL tough, in what would have been a completely different game if not for back to back early ST's fumble recovery TDs for ESL. They need to beat the Jungle Raiders this week, as they face Singapore, Kamakura and Bandar in a make or break stretch.

- P-Funk Allstars (1-1) - Tough loss vs the Bats might bite them late in the season. Sir Lollipop Man emerged as possibly the best wide out in the league last season, but has gotten off to a slow start thus far. The Allstars need to get him going asap.

- Duluth Bulldogs (1-1) - Being dominated by the Hustlers is not how the Bulldogs pictured this season starting. They had there rebound game, now need to step it up vs Manila.

- Quahog Drunken Clams (1-1) - Solid team that got a big win week 2. They are facing an uphill battle however and we will be able to better judge them after they play Singapore.

- Guanhzhou United Fight Club (1-1) - Beat handily by the Katanas in there first test, they have the misfortune of rebounding vs Bandar.

- Pattaya Jungle Raiders (0-2) - Many from this team have played in the league before, and I think they will move up the rankings before seasons end.

- Portland Dirty Penguins (0-2) - This is not how the Penguins wanted to start the season. They absolutely can not lose vs the Gothic or it's lights out. Seriously, in the last 8 games, 6 are vs last seasons playoff teams. If they don't pull out 5 wins in the first half, they are in trouble.

- Chaiyaphum Gothic (0-2) - One of the few remaining original Pro teams, they are backed against the ropes once more. They have been in this situation before, so I wouldn't count them out yet.

- Okinawa Leathernecks (0-2) - Very tough draw in LSP for week 1. Losing to the Clams as well is not promising. They have a tough second half schedule, and are starting from a tough hole.

WOW #2, thanks for the rankings HB, and good luck tomorrow. I'm sure its going to be another great game by 2 great teams. It's alittle early for us to have a BIG game already but I think you can agree with, me this could be a make or break game, atleast for playoff seeding. (Hopefully).... LOL

Meth is the heart and soul of Singapore, Mack is just trying to prove his critics wrong after a tumultuous season in Oceania Pro where his numbers were way down. Nagging hamstring and toe injuries were to blame, but the media cut him no slack.

He's just hoping to revitalize his career in SEA and help Singapore in anyway that is asked of him.
