I am seeing a higher level of fumbling by HB for teams I am on. For one team, the HBs invested in confidence (near 40 or above) and carrying above soft cap along with strength being in the 60 - 90 range.

Now, in A, they had a combined 1 fumble, 1 fumble lost for the entire season (350 carries). In 2 games this season in AA, it is 6 fumbles, 3 lost. Our team is right on par with the level of the other teams so I don't see it as being that the competition has improved that much to warrant this increase in fumbling.

Has this been seen throughout the leagues ... what is needed to combat these powered up, fumbling causing defensive players?

They are happening a lot more but they're by no means overpowered, fumbles should be happening more than they were in previous seasons.

That said, one of my HBs had his worst game ever today. He was vastly out-levelled but he had a very poor 5 rushes and 4 fumbles.

How is that not overpowered? No RB ever fumbles on 4 of 5 carries. My back has 7 fumbles in the past 2 games.

Well firstly we lost the game 79-6 so my HBs morale would've been consistently low. He only has 20 strength, 25 carrying and 26 confidence so fumbles are to be expected and after the first one it's very likely to happen again.

I figure it is getting the defense SA to be in line with what they are called out to be, but it is a shift from the past seasons. Tough to make quick adjustments to counteract the defense's improved ability to cause fumbles.

Any info yet in the forums to help prevent the fumbling? Do the HBs need to start investing in VA and SA to prevent fumbling? Does a combination of skills in the hard cap and above region going to help tone it down a bit?

have u seen what power backs have done to GLB in the last few seasons? they would break 15 tackles a game and never fumble, and carrying would be no more than at the soft cap

this is just a way of bringing the offense and defense closer, and making the game more realistic

carrying at the soft cap seems good to me. From what I've seen, it's a sliding scale of being likely to fumble. The special abilities also decrease the likelihood to fumble as well.

I finished the game I played with very low energy (unusual) and 2 fumbles despite high STR/CAR/CONF

I think it might be helmet crash/power tackler VA's.... and I know from the pbp I got monster hit a ton

My HB hasn't fumbled once yet all season, but then again, we've played 2 blowouts, so that's not suprising. I would like to know the number of points in Cover Up that everyone has. That could be part of it, even with good Str and decent Car/Con, some points in Cover up might be necessary to help stop too much fumbling.

my powerback fumbles very rarely with carrying only at the soft cap. I think having 100 str has a lot to do with it.

Havent really fumbled much between my 3 backs. Maybe twice all together.

I fumbled once last season, already 2 times in 4 games this season

3 times for me but only when i carried the ball 53 times in one game
