It's like a completely new slot for equipment. It won't bump off any of your current pieces.

you basically roll against the other kickers/punters in the league

the more fame you have, the better you're chances of winning

plus, I think you have to play on that team/league during the last season?

so you can't just sign with a new team in the off season and get an endorsement (confirm/defer for me please)
