Got really bored today at work and thought I'd help you guys out, hopefully somebody picks up where I left off. If somebody else takes it over, change it at will or make your own new one, just trying to give you a base to work off of.

This preseason ranking is a power ranking, based on a few variables which are sort of like the BCS formula.

The ranking will contain all 32 teams, 16 Eastern and 16 Western. (This ranking is based on Season 8 rosters, not any results or standings from Season 7 or scrimmages from Season 8.)

For those of you that were slighted in this post, I'm sorry. Feel free to a) heckle and/or flame me b) copy and paste into your team forum as bulletin board material or c) both a) and b). Anybody that wants to drop in upstairs in A6, please feel free.

Obviously a lot can change during the preseason and regular season, but this is how one non-biased owner sees things now.

Western Conference:
Tier 1 - *like ESPN fantasy football commercial* Championship
1) Oklahoma City Twisters

Tier 2 - Likely Playoff Home games
2) Austin Packers
3) Colorado Ice
4) Pensacola High Rollers

Tier 3 - Likely Playoff Teams
5) Philadelphia DeMon Stage
6) Chicago Blitz
7) Brooklyn Beastmen
8) Atlantic City Ante

Tier 5 - Going to be a long season
11) Nevada Fire
12) Bangkok Lightning/Farm Team
13) Detroit Vipers

Tier 6 - Going to be a long, long season
14) Ohio Dagwoods
15) Cincinnati Crush

Ya'll have some serious competition with this one, because after seeing what they did to the Empire, i doubt they're going to lay back and kick FG's on every possession.

woohoo! The Dogs of War made it onto tier 4!

At least we (hopefully) got our worst beating of the season out of the way with Oklahoma City...

The one good thing about this league is that it isnt impossible to really compete the first year. I know some other bbb leagues where its just not even fair.

by the way... good luck tonight

Wow, sounds sarcastic, but seriously, good job by the Ewoks. They didn't even let the Twisters get to 255, much less some exorbitant score.

We realize that we will be taking our lumps and beatings, but that's what it takes to eventually move on up.

Wow, with one game left to go, really nailed this, at least in the East.

Had Myrtle Beach at 2, they are at 4.
6 & 7 are swapped, but they are also tied in record. otherwise 5-12 are exactly right.
CPE has made some good progress.

Not so good with the predictions in the West.

Chicago Blitz has really recruited well and done better than expected.
PHR is a playoff team, but a bit of a disappointment from the preseason.
