After the first round of scrimmage games, the West is 10-6 vs the East.

Let's see if this trend continues through the 2nd round of scrimmages. My guess is that it will, but we will see.

Week 1 of the regular season will be the true indicator.

pretty sure west has won the championship the past 3-4 years and def had a better division all those years.

the east may have closed the gap some this year, though...hard to tell with so many rebuilt teams.

The west has been the tougher league since season 2. Same up here in USA A4. The west is stacked as hell.

I will tell you that the SkyForce dumped their whole team for 1 season so they could be dropped down, then signed their whole team back for this season so they could win a championship the easy way. They couldn't hang in A4 i guess. I hope that some of you guys beat their ass.

That's not a good thing to do.... But we welcome the challenge of playing a very good team.

Also, the West is WAY better than the East...again.

New York Grizzlies back in season 6 merged with another team and last season after it dropped back down to BBB * we decided to just start fresh and go for it again.

Gutting a team just so it can drop and go for it again is pure CRAP. It will be funny to see some of the teams down here actually beat Sky. Sad that I don't remember that team in A4 back in Season 5.

They were offering their players last season as loaner players for 1 season. That is fact.

I know this is just a game but doing that shows their true character as a person.
I wish my guys are a little more stronger so that we can blast those guys when we play them.

Very true...BUT it wasn't because we couldn't handle the competition. You're getting it completely screwed up. It was because I've only invested in one section of our stadium. For us to be financially viable as a franchise (and to even exist at all - we were on the ropes of being turned over on a default loan payment in Season 6) it was the only recourse of action.

I'm pretty darn certain that you guys couldn't handle the Philadelphia Continentals when you were in USA BBB prior to your moving up, and I'd be willing to put more than even money on the fact that you couldn't beat us either once our chemistry reached your level. I'd be more than happy to take you on in a challenge and show you that we COULD have handled the competition up in USA A#4.

And a lot of teams offer rental players to actually win a title. While it was nice to be dropped down to contend - and I will admit it is fun to be atop the rankings - it was NOT the real reason we did it. We were disappointed we weren't in the thick of it last season, but I probably didn't make it real clear that we only had one complete section of the stadium and couldn't survive financially as a franchise.

To further clarify, we would have been dropped whether I sold my players as rentals or not. We had some bad-break losses earlier last season that were close and could've gone either way, but we ended up losing them and that would have placed us as one of the 2-3 worst teams in the league. We have since made some key acquisitions from other teams that decided to go slow-build through the connects I've made on this game and are now stronger than we were last season, but we could have pulled a couple of those game out last year!

To be honest, there are a couple teams we could lose to this year, Nic Cage being one of them. I'm sure they'll be pulling out all the stops to beat us, as we will them!

Yeah we were in USA BBB #15 during that season. I've owned this team since Week 2 of Season 3. I've invested a ton of team cash into player equipment upgrades rather than the stadium...trying like anything to make us a viable and competent franchise. We were swapped the season realignment occurred, with a team called Dead Broke in USA A#4, that was the laughingstock of the league at that time. We did not want to swap, never sent Support a confirmation, yet were swapped anyway. The reason we were swapped is because I sent the owner of Dead Broke a PM saying we may have been interested, but weren't sure. The next thing I knew we were in USA A#4, without ever having sent anything Support's way. I'm over it now and have moved on though. It is what it is.

Thus, we were on the ropes in A#4 and I had to dump as much as I could into player upgrades and forget about the stadium. So even though we've been around Since the start of Season 3, that would be why we only have one section of the 2nd level of our stadium complete.

This is a little misleading though and I can see how he would think that since I didn't say anything about our stadium in this thread...but all you gotta do is check out our stadium...lol. You could see that by Jan. 21 (the time I posted this message) we were very likely to get demoted anyway.
