etc. I basically NEVER pin them when we punt in this area of the field. We have a poor passing game, and a level 13 kicker (slowbuild team). I feel we're forced to punt in these situations, but how can I avoid the touchbacks.

I fear my punter is TOO good, in a sense. He can kick 60 yards if given the opportunity, but is always too close.

Anyway, I have 100 punting, 75 confidence, 60 vision, and 5-5-9 SAs at level 32. I simply have no clue what could help improve my accuracy here other than those SAs? Or am I simply doomed to be kicking touchbacks this close, and should just suck it up and go for the first down?

Maybe "nail in coffin" is the solution, but at only +2% chance of successfully kicking the coffin corner punt, I'm a bit hesitant to give up such a huge opportunity cost in +1% punting.

How much Str?

Calm Nerves is the SA for punt accuracy, although we don't know how effective it is compared to raising Vis to 68, for example.

Basically, no one knows how to build, it's all guesswork and chance because Bort tells us nothing.

I only have 50 strength and I'm convinced it is worthless for a punter. I'll cap agility before I move strength to 60

I think you should try and get vision up to the next cap. I've no actual evidence to back this up, but I think that vision plays a really big role in coffin corners. My level 31 punter has the following build:

Strength: 32.62 Blocking: 8
Speed: 14.62 Tackling: 8
Agility: 14.62 Throwing: 14.62
Jumping: 32.62 Catching: 8
Stamina: 8 Carrying: 10
Vision: 68.62 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 76.12 Punting: 83.12 (104.12)

Got 7 points in Soccer Star and nothing in SA's.

It's a long term build plan, so he won't really be where I want him for another season or two, but I'll post here again once he gets a fair number of punts under his belt this season. I'm interested to see how much vision plays in the success of coffin corners.

Vision and Conf are facts, agility is speculated. He needs to cap vision again pronto as I have observed it makes a huge difference in TB. Might as well train agility since there's no other stat worth training and it does factor into the bar.

so maybe it was just me being biased by the FIRST few punts totally screwing up that game and forgetting I did fine later.

But still, 50% consistency isn't anything to write home again.

Then again, my pitiful offense forcing me to punt 7 times around the opponent 35-40 isn't anything to write home about, either.

Maybe I'll just start going for it on 4th down in that area of the field more.

My plan is to cap agility but that wont happen until next season, so we'll see about that later.

I'll say a few things though.

With an all punting/confidence build, I won the league title in average punting yards
When I went from 30 to 60 vision, I started ATTEMPTING coffin corners way more, from like 30% to probably even 80% within a reasonable range.
When I capped strength, nothing changed.
When I added SAs (all in a huge bunch) my punting power has vastly improved, the ball is going WAY higher and farther when I get a good boot on it

I'll see what happens when I cap agility next season, I guess

I've noticed the 30 to 60 vision gain along with a lot of people. Its by far the biggest jump in ability I've had in all of my punter's boosts. I have maxed out SA's early on before I knew much about slow building so I don't know how much of an affect they have but my punts go pretty high and decently far like they did in season 3.
