Im looking to be a beast of a run blocker ONLY and would like some input from some people that already have a beast of a run blocker already.

i have to find that run blocking sa too.

what do think would be better? An AE for run block or AE with lead block?

^all i know is lead block works great for me. i can't tell ya about the run block one though.

How much speed/agility do you want for run-blocking?

as soon as you get strength to around 85 I would put pretty much all my points in speed/agility. I would shoot for at least 60 in each

I'd shoot for MUCH higher speed/agil

Most HBs will get atleast 70 speed/agil.

I think the most important attribute for a Blocking FB is probably speed/agil and getting first step Adv EQ = godly probably.

Cant Run Block if your HB is a mile infront of you!

Also sometimes HBs will "wait" behind your slow@$$.

I have my own FB run blocking for my own HB and I wish everyday I threw more into speed/agility when that FB was young. You dont need that much str/blocking to take down most secondary players.. they're almost always full speed.

60str/blocking should be fine by far

You may not get a ton of pancakes but pancakes =/= blocking in the end. Pancakes just mean you drop your block and try to find the next person (but your HB will be a mile away by this time probably), meanwhile the CB gets up and his 90speed/70 agility goes and catches up.

50str/50blk should be fine to hold blocks you need to... and eventually you can raise it to like 60/60.
