Automatic

Pretty much in the order you posted. Automatic == not worth it. Calm Nerves appears to be the best.

Yep, I'd rate them in the order that they already are on the SA tree.

I agree with the above, Calm Nerves is great, Big Boot helps only on KO and long FGs, Automatic only helps on XPs and short FGs.

Calm Nerves seems to help make long FGs more consistantly than Big Boot does.

I don't even think Automatic works - there's people who've got 11+ in it that still miss XP's - my kicker has it at 6 and misses a similar amount of PAT's to kickers with more points in it. He's also not missed from under 50 yards in 3+ seasons now.

1/2 the game's SAs are broken and are worthless to throw points in. Tunnel Vision, Tight Spiral, Change Direction are exceptions to the rule. Automatic should be assumed to be worthless currently, while Calm Nerves has had a noticeable affect and Big Boot may help although we don't have conclusive proof. Once we get better access to the test server, hopefully we'll make public the information that's been private or unknown.

gah thats to bad one of my early rolls for aeq is + 2 confidence + automatic would have loved that to be in calm nerves then from what everyone has mentioned .

I have 2 pieces in the same spot, one is upgraded to +5 Vision, +3 Automatic. The other has been upgraded once to +1 Vision, +1 Calm Nerves. Obviously I can sell the Automatic if I go with CN.

My SA tree would be 11, 7, 6 with CN AEQ.
The SA tree is 8, 7, 9 right now with Auto.

Should I roll with the CN eq?

Yes, I think the CN would be better however its mostly a 2.5 CN boost since we know theres a bit of a dropoff in gain from 10 vs 11. If Bort fixes Automatic, then that's the perfect equipment for you. I say wear the automatic one for now because of the +4 vision but hold onto the CN one.

Well if I go with the CN eq, I'd sell the Automatic so I can use the boner tokens to upgrade it.

I personally like Big Boot the most. Kickoffs are big part of kickers game.

Automatic seems to work better on my punter for some reason...

I'm sure it works. It just doesn't necessarily work to the extent that everyone seems it should work.
