Don't underestimate Woodridge, they are a good side and they deserved the Championship just as much as any other team in the playoffs. I think we can all agree that it was an entertaining playoffs with many ups and downs. However now comes the time of the season to celebrate and say farewell to the teams being relegated or CPU. I urge any player of a team getting relegated to stay on board and fight for promotion. Any player on a team going CPU to join a team, even as a backup. The fact is that WEPL is argueably the most competitive league in GLB and with more depth on every team, we can adjust to any change.
Thanks Woodridge for being decent opponents, although I feel guilty robbing you of two championships now (season two with Rohrheim Stampede).
It was definitely a total team effort all around. Everyone on the team put in a lot of time and effort from gameplanning to scouting, to build suggestions, to depth chart adjustments, and to just keeping up with their guys, making sure they were all set each and every game.

A little bit of irony in that some of the old Stampede guys went to the Meatballs.
In any event good game Woo-Jax, you always have a helluva team It was an honor to face you in the Championship game
Conratulations to all my Meatball teammates, and Coordinators....last but not least, Big Congratulations to our Owner and Leader, Fat Daddy Cash....you really deserve this man, enjoy!!!!
But good game i guess. I'm glad we got to play against a really good team in Stockholm. The shame if we would have played, and lost, against Flamers Inc. would have been horrible.
I guess we'll have to win the trophy next year instead, prepare for a rematch!
EDIT I actually had meatballs for lunch today, for good luck. Didn't work so no need for anyone else to try it out.
