It can be good, but the QB might not allow the play to fully develope. That might result in missed big plays.

Well, the QB throws the ball away too quickly at times, even when he's not under pressure (I've seen it happen quite often with the Quick Release VA). If he were to hold on to that ball for a few more moments, the WR could break free down field. Sometimes, when the QB throws it away too quickly, he runs the chance of missing the big play down field.

If he were to hold on to that ball for a few more moments, the WR could break free down field. Sometimes, when the QB throws it away too quickly, he runs the chance of missing the big play down field.


I don't think the Quick Release VA is what you think it is. The Quick Release VA lets the QB get the ball out of his hands quicker when he's made up his decision of who to throw it to.

ive been wondering if this is how it works or not, if so then it would definitely seem useful
