7-1 in round one, here we go again.

1. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 4. Minnesota Marauders. Monmouth's offense was running as well as ever putting up 52 against OCT. Drago had his usual solid outing defense with the occasional Big play.

The D went with a bend but don't break tactic and for the most part it worked well. Olsen is one dangerous player on D.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=366009&pbp_id=13780152

Monmouth superior depth showed in the 4h quarter where they blew open a tight game with a 28-0 run and a 268-48 difference in yardage.

Minnesota had a war against a very talented Fire squad. Back and forth the entire game a fourth quarter safety was the difference. Minnesota's pash rush was big picking up 7 sacks and 5 hurries. They didn't throw the ball as well as the usually do, but were able to grind it out on the ground when they had to. Evil Monkeys win 42-27

2. Lincoln Navigators V 3. Honolulu Hurricane Warriors. The Nav's had a tough one against BSB. Their offense once again managed to take advantage of the ability to break tackles by their RB's

Their Defense was shaky at times, giving up 436 yards but was able to come up with big plays when they needed it.

From the score board you would think HHW's offense dominated the Freebirds. YOU WOULD BE WRONG . 6 int's and 5 of them brought back the distance made this game the biggest blow out of day one in the playoffs. The Freebirds QB must have had nightmares about Wangs stealing his balls last night.

Can't really say much about the HHW offense after this one. They didn't have to do anything. Lincoln wins 35-34

1. ***Official*** Footballguys V 4 Washington Bullets. OFG cruised to an easy 31-10 win over K-zoo. 28 broken tackles by their offense was too much for the Yotes to overcome.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=366013&pbp_id=13793696

Defensively they picked up two turnovers, both of which stopped K-zoo drives in their territory.

The Bullets won a defensive battle over Vegas. Both teams were held under 275 yards of total offense. 3 hurries and 3 sacks helped Washington control the Elvis' passing attack. A perfect 4-4 day from their kicker was the key to their scoring. OFG wins 35-17

2. Cincinnati Shockers V 3. Green Bay Maulers. The Shockers dominated fought off a tough rage squad and dominated at the end to put the game away. 2 Shocker turnovers kept the score close, but a tough defense and some big plays on Offense gave Cinci the win

In the Manning bowl Green Bay struggle through a shaky performance to advance. Green bay's offense was unable to stop the pass rush of the Demon Lions and their O struggled as a result. A huge defensive TD was the difference in this one.

Maulers win 24-21

The higher seed hasn't lost a single game in the POs so far... so I wouldn't get too down on yourself

Yeah, but coachV is like Nostradamus. I think he actually wrote the Mayan calender too...that's how good he is at predicting the future.

Nice write up. I seriously doubt the margin of victory in the OFG v WAS game will be that large for either side, but who didn't see that coming from me .
