Hey all,

I'm experimenting with softcapping confidence first and seeing the effects in isolation. I want Maria Full of Grace to be dual-threat, with low strength and mediocre throwing but high vision and confidence.

My question is: has anyone else tried capping confidence first, or is this utter insanity? I hadn't thought of it until I rolled 20 confidence and figured because I probably won't boost her this year it doesn't cost me anything to try.

Anyway--yay for confidence and vision!

Same boat different idea. I capped strength this season so I won't have to touch it again, it's at 50. Will 2nd cap throwing at the end of season, then cap vision next season. Also rolled a +1throwing 2% pass quality, it's +2throwing +4% to pass quality now. Will keep upgrading till My late 20's. he's 9 now. Your experiment could work but you will sacrifice sum early success. Keep him in the d-league so he can still get some playing time. Start looking for a 13 cap team that can use your QB, so you can have a team later on and not building for nothing. But I'm curious as to how he will turn out.

Yeah, I haven't really worked out the math yet bet I'm probably going to go light on the Pocket SAs after pump fake to save some SPs, because I'd really like to softcap speed and agility. I'd almost like to just leave throwing alone for awhile as an experiment to see how much confidence+vision can do.

probrably wouldn't pump any sp's into SA's untill you've capped throwing, strength, and vision. Was told they don't activate untill you've capped those first. I spent 300 flex for +1 to pocket passing tree. Rolled to throw/pass quality on 1st and only roll, was just gonna dump bonus tokens in it till I got high enough and found something better

You should wait longer than first caps, imo. However, you were misinformed about activation--they don't require specific amounts of attributes to activate.

No, I'm probably not going SAs until lvl 30+. What I meant was that in my final build I'll allocate less SPs to SAs to make up for the experimental build early.
