I have a QB with ok stats, but he only completes 30% of his passes. He is level 9 with 42.2 throwing, 30.2 strength, and 35.2 vision. Is there anything to raise in order to improve his completion percentage?

D-League stats mean nothing. Wait till you're on a human team, then come back if you still need help. Don't forget that football (even when poorly simmed) is a team sport.

Mine fluctuates between low 60's to high 40's and i'm still trying to figure out how to do so. So someone tell me.

Mine has 84 throwing
68-69 vision
51 or 52 strength
50 something confidence

almost no quick release and a relatively low throwing for your level is probably the culprit.

All your equipment should be in throwing. I have a QB 3 levels below you with 100 throwing, 70% or more every game.

You have a lvl 6 QB with 100 throwing?

Vision, Confidence, and Tight Spiral are - IMO of course - the things that have the biggest impact on completion %. I saw an immediate 5% jump in my QBs completion percentage in his 4th season when I really started concentrating on those things and now that they're all getting high (Vision 2nd capped, Confidence almost there, 11 Tight Spiral) he's completing 70+%.

I also agree with jbiller that D-League stats mean nothing though. I wouldn't worry too much right now. My advice:

1st Cap Throwing, then Vision - train confidence the whole time. Once you've done that 2nd cap Throwing, then 1st cap strength, then 2nd cap Vision - again train confidence constantly (Study Game Film is a fantastic training regimine for low level QBs).

No. He's lying.

Well either that or he has 2 accounts because he only has one QB and he's level 38...

Veteran abilites shouldn't be so spread out as well.

My QB's throwing was probably similar around that at his level so it's not too bad. In fact I still don't have over 90 in throwing yet...

I have almost 60 str, almost 60 vis, and 80 throwing, it's doing decent. And four in Tight Spiral. Try that?

I appreciate the advice, but if you look at my QB's stats, he's done pretty well. Throwing isn't everything, and with next season approaching and the increased need for vision, i think I'll stick with the way my equipment is. Every year my QB has thrown for over 60% completions (besides D-League). Every year it goes up. I think I'm doing something right

plus i checked your profile and the 2 teams you GM for. You have no such quarterback. You have a backup on your team who threw that high 2 and a half seasons ago, and he only threw 215 passes. Try throwing close to 600 and still having a high %
