I'm thinking of bringing agility to the third cap(maybe more) and if possible strength as well. After those are at the third cap, speed will be brought up to 48. I'm just wondering if this kind of tactic is a mistake or if its a viable idea. Build relies heavily on strength and agi and a minor focus on speed.

Anyone actually try it?

Big mistake. Speed rusher is the only proven build that works in GLB. Anybody trying to build a strength-based DE ends up sucking. Agility based DEs need some speed to succeed.

Build up your speed, leave your strength

just to fan the fire...speed builds actually need agility to succeed, not the other way around.

nobody in this game needs strength

That would be a run stopping DE that you are suggesting, assuming that the runner comes to you. It seems like a good approach for the interior linemen but I would think and End is going to need more speed a lot sonner in their career to be at all effective. An end needs to chase after the guy with the ball and can't wait for the guy with the ball to come meet them at the line.

Last season was all about agility. This season, speed kills, and agility sucks.

I just think the idea needs to be refined a bit. Str/Agi to 68 Speed to 61 and a hefty dose of Strong Base/Wall, Tunnel Vision/First step/Shed Block. Throw in Workhorse, Quick, and Heavywieght and you might have a decent DE. I haven't seen the build so I'm unsure if it will work, but on paper it looks good.
