Actually, right now I'm thinking Batavia is a better team than Lynchburg. Lynchburg got incredibly lucky with the two forced fumbles on Batavia punt returns. Without those fumbles, its a much closer game, and I give the edge to Batavia.

Anyway, Batavia beat us far and square, I admit. Nevertheless, I don't think our offense will be trying to run the ball much next game, considering we tried it vs Batavia and averaged 2.7 yards per carry.

Just don't, by any means, think we have no shot of beating you.

forced fumbles though come down to player builds as well

ive always thought gameplanning and player builds go way further then anything else in this game but it's not like we can sit down and judge who has better builds, gameplans will be obvious come the end of the season

i dont see any trash talking on his part, he straight out said batavia beat us fair and square, he's just saying who he thinks is the better team just like people in the west have been debating between the jaguars and mayhem. i think that the deathdealers and batavia are much closer then you seem to think as well, it was a close game, that can go either way very easily

He was trash talking saying that we were lucky in the win. I am not doubting that they are a good team and very close to us, but we won. Special teams is a third of the game, so problems with the special teams is a problem for the whole team. We will see come playoffs if it was a fluke or if we truly are the better team.

I'm taking someone out for the season next game....

that's all i'm saying man. special teams is a very big part of the game, of course but two forced fumbles could be credit to player builds or just plain luck through AI, which is why i said that come playoff time we will see how you guys are compared to them, us to batavia, etc.

im not knocking you guys either, you guys are a well run team with good builds no doubt about that.

Exactly its a team game with everything that goes with it , and yes sometimes a little luck helps too.
Good teams exploit mistakes , simple.
Not really into trash talk , I'll leave that to others.
But if we win , I hope that our team members are humble in victory.

We'll rematch in the playoff, it should be a good game. It could go either way.
