If the Shockers beat the Hitmen, 4 of the final 8 teams will be USA Pro teams. No pressure joe!

Gamblers actually beat one of the top teams in SE Asia Pro today (a team that had beaten the undefeated CPL Marblehead team). No big deal to the rest of you I'm sure, but I have to have something to be proud of this season damn it! As I was telling the LSP guys, USA Pro is a bitch.

Lincoln lost in the finals of Landry's tournament two seasons ago and was knocked out in the Final Four last season. Well-organized tournament and a good opportunity to matchup against some solid teams.

USAPL is really looking strong to this point -- hopefully we can finish strong.

We made the final four last season as well before getting our asses handed to us on a silver platter by West Scranton.

They beat us for the Championship in the first season of the Landry tournament.

WSI beat on us last year too. We learned from our mistakes and will be ready for them this time around.

This is probably the most well-run tournament in GLB. If any other USA teams want to get in on it next year, I'll probably post a link early in Season 8. I know they're working towards bringing even more top-tier teams into the tournament next season.

Neither did I, and I am actually on the team!

The game was scheduled before we had confirmation of the bracket matchup. I'm always looking to scrimmage good teams on offdays and I don't generally make a big deal out of scrimmages... particularly when I expect us to win.

My favorite part of that scrimmage is the fact that the Beans only gained yards on TWO plays in the entire 4th quarter.

Damn -- if I read the bracket correctly, 4 USAPL teams enter the tournament and all 4 have advanced to the Elite 8. Very impressive work guys.
