1) ***O*** GB beat them, they barely beat the Shockers and GB lost to the Shockers by 7. You tell me who #1 is. I'm going with ***O*** until they prove me wrong.

2) GB Honestly, I don't see a difference between GB, the Shockers ***O*** and the Bullets. If those 4 teams each played each other 4 times, I could see them all finishing 500 in those games. Still, until someone else beats us, we only have 1 L and the Shockers & Bullets have 2.

3) Shockers beat the Bullets, so I have to put them here. You can make a strong argument that they should be #2, but I go strong on record. The bright side, is that this ranking means nothing and they'll have a chance to prove they deserve #1 or 2 in the POs. As Joe pointed out in a PM, every season GB & the Shockers have been in the same league, we've played twice. So, here's to our eventual rematch.

4) As I wrote in my 1st thread on ranking the East, Washington isn't a 6th seed. They've proved that ever since. Hell, they're most likely better than a 4 seed, but their record and losses to the Shockers & GB put them here. Don't be surprised if they keep moving up.

5) I'm going to make an exception and break ranks here and put DDL as 5. Big Ws over Rage & the Yotes, as well as them having major AI issues early in season warrent it, IMO. If you don't agree, I'm OK with that, but I see them coming on hard as the season continues and the AIs are further massaged.

6) The Yotes go here. Anyone that remembers any post I've ever made about the Yotes realizes I have a great respect for this team and feel they're always under rated. Bck to back Ws against an under rated RI team and a resurgent Gamblers warrents their jump over the Flyin Es

7) For as much talk as there has been about the Flyin Es being unable to stop power backs, they gave both ***O*** & the Bullets tough games. The bright side is that they still have 2 bye games left. The dark side is that they still have to play the Shockers, GB, DDL & a dangerous Rage team fighting for a PO spot.

8) Orlando, Rage & RI...Pick one, because I don't pretend that I can.

***O*** vrs Bullets will be a big game because I think it is the last game between the top 4 ranked teams right now. A loss by ***O*** brings us into a tie breaking situation with two teams, which we would surely lose in part because we didn't get to play a gutted Philly team.

Of course all four teams still have lose-able games against the rest of the league, which could move them down and move some others up.

Actually Washington didn't get to play Philly gutted either, so if it comes to a three way tie and Washington beats us, Cincy comes out on top.

Could be a lot of drama if things don't change, because that ***O***/Bullets game is in Week 17.

I believe GB will take at least 1 more L, I'm hoping no more than 2, but I could see 3. So many of these games between the teams listed could go either way...I'm just glad we got the Gamblers before they figured things out, but I suppose that's offset by not getting DDL early.

Just keep posting, Carnage...I can never remember what you wrote within seconds after reading it, but I never mind either. You have by far my fav avatar in this game. The thing I don't get is that I'd consider myself marginally intelligent at least. So, why then do I keep believing that if I watch long enough that the zipper will eventually go all the way down? It never ceases to amaze me how stupid women can make men.

I think the top 3 seeds will end up being decided by tiebreaker. Since points scored is the first tiebreaker, I'm glad we have to play Arizona, Kentucky and the Continentals still.

I am giving you the angry face...
Though Kentucky and Philly have good squads..You might not score as much as you think on them..unless its a CPU or a gut..its hard to look past any Pro team with levels to compete

Not saying anything about Cincy, but that's one of the reasons that points scored is such a dumb way to break a tie, points allowed would be much better. At least then you'd have the chance to make up a few points allowed to CPU teams in the rest of your games. Its unlikely that you'll be able to add 175 points scored in the same scenario.

we're here to play spoilers. Small chance we can sneak in the playoffs if we go 5-1 or better but that's a long, long shot with the last 4 games on our schedule, so we'll just have to settle for making teams have to spend extra time game planning us and ruining any thoughts they had of surfing Internet porn.

Watch out next season though, that's all I gotta say.

I agree that points scored is a terrible tie breaker. If you tie with another team and you beat that team, then you should be higher up than them. This happened last season when we finished w/ the same record as Green Bay and got 4th place over them (and a home game in the playoffs), yet the Maulers beat us in the regular season.

If we can manage to win vs. the Bullets next week, I think that we should warrant a jump over DDL.
