Warrior General Games

For those of you from SEA AAA #1 or looked at their stuff last year, me and Fool did the picks. When we moved up, Fool kept doing them but I just kinda quit for whatever reason. Now, 10 games into the season (kinda late, sorry guys ) I PM'd Fool and he said he'd be glad if I did the matchups with him, and I'm back doing the matchups with him. We'll switch off doing Naga/Garuda each week, as we did before.

LSP just LOOKED like the team to beat this preseason. They have all mid-40 guys as starters, and their 9-0 record tells everybody that their gameplanning must be awesome also. This'll cruise them to 10-0, and guarantee a playoffs spot. Then again, have we seen anything yet to say that they WEREN'T gonna make the playoffs? This'll move the Bats to 3-7, and they have to go on a big winning streak before they admit defeat.

Poor M*A*S*H. Have NOT had a good season so far, and I know GG, he seems like a good guy, his team has just broken down. In the meantime, the Hot Mamas has kicked ass and have gone 8-0 since their 13-20 loss to the 5-4 Hitmen. Like with LSP, this team has shown us nothing to stop us from putting them in the playoffs, and they're gonna have to have a serious, serious breakdown not to make it.

Bangkok Tweetys vs. Yokohoma Yaks

Bangkok's only loss this season is to their fellow 8-1 team, the Hot Mamas. Yokohoma has yet to face them. Yokohoma lost to the Red Bulls, while Bangkok won their matchup 33-20. Bangkok is another team that is nearly a lock for the playoffs, while Yokohoma looks likely, but they'll have some crucial games here and there. They have to lock up and get some big wins, here would be a good statement game. Bangkok, though, will probably win this one, though I'm not ruling Yokohoma out.

Singapore Bulls vs. Semarang Red Bulls

This game comes down to Semarang's defense. If they can shut down the high-powered pass offense, the weak rushing offense that is the Singapore Bulls will have to sink or float. Singapore will have to show their true colors more, because 1 dimensional teams don't make it very far in playoffs. If Semarang stops the pass, they should win this game, but nobody has really yet to stop the passing yet.

Singapore, what's up guys? You guys were good last season, I was sure you'd have success. What is up guys? The schedule isn't the best the rest of the way Singapore...you guys might have to fight for the "bottom feeder but hey - At least we're not being demoted!" spot, though I'm very sure you won't get demoted.

Manila Warlords vs. Taiwan Blood Pandas*

Game of the week vs. 2 good teams who haven't shown the fact that they are good. One will hit .500 and still have a chance in the playoffs, the other will be under .500 and that much closer to being eliminated. 2 very opposite teams, one with a good running game, the other with a good passing game, and both have average defenses. It'll come down to if Taiwan can pass well or Manila can run well.

considering we are in the top half of the board...i think its a pretty good bet we wont be demoted...

well that sucks...struggle early...put together a 3-game win streak...get favored in the "game of the week"...then lose a close one with 2 turnovers on special teams.
