It doesn't seem like WR seem to break many tackles, if any, but I have a piece of AE with +break tackle, would this be any good?

No. If you currently have a 5% chance to break a tackle, a +5% piece is only going to move you to 5.25% chance. You need a pretty good chance already for the % bonuses to have a noticeable effect.

If you are not already breaking tackles, then no it probably wont be. raising 0 by a % is still 0

This sums it up.

Only way it would work IMO is if you put a decent amount of points into str and carrying

i asked a similar question a while back .... it depends on whether you think agility/spin/slippery classifies as broken tackle or a fake ... I dont know ....

If you have high strength, agility and carrying then it will help.

So far 33 broken tackles
Has 15 points in bruiser (just added last point yesterday) and a +7% chance to break tackle AE. Also because of the points he has in clutch, he may or may not have a slight increase chance to break the tackles on 3rd and 4th downs.

Strength is 53, carrying is 42, agility is 53 (don't judge me monkey).

Wow, TehKyou that is quite a thought provoking WR idea.

Its a shame I didn't know about the caps till around 3 seasons in, my younger WR is going to mimic him, but will have the benefit of being slowbuilt.

i'm working on a similar experiment and have 43 broken tackles in 3 seasons ... they've slowed as of late though due to me not boosting him and being outleveld and now lower on the depth chart

eta - gets a LOT of pancakes too so he's a great addition to a running team

Ive got a very similar build with high str, agility and catching. My big question is whats the end game? What are you satisfied with your stats at, in particular agility and catching?
Im just about to hit L32 and am curious where to throw the equipment.
Currently Ive got 60 catching (w/ EQ) and 65 agil (w/ EQ)... is that enough for a while? Should I bump it up some? Im really not sure. I dont drop many passes, but there is an occasional 1 every say 3rd game or so.
Thoughts?

Oh, and to get back to the original question, Ive got advanced equipment that gives me the power thu stat, along with 10pts in bruiser and I break plenty of tackles (53 so far this season, and 92 pancakes).

Thanks!

Sitting on 60... wondering whether to throw some EQ there, or maybe more agility?
