Most players you want to get to a cap or two ASAP for obvious reasons but what about a FB? He doesn't need 100 spd or agil or str or blk or anything really. He really needs to be rounded with about 4 or 5 things. So the ? is, is there any need to rush to a soft cap for a FB?

If you rush to the first softcaps, you can be rounded across 4 or 5 things at higher values than if you spread them out as you go. Pushing to softcaps ASAP adds points to your build, no matter where you're allocating things.
Unless you think a FB with about 40 in everything is going to be any good., which I highly doubt would be the case.

Yes, because it makes the best use of your natural level gains. I would cap STR, AGI, and BLK in that order if I was making a FB, but I've never made one....so what the hell do I know?

Speed to match your HB and 4cap blocking. 8+ leadBlock and SpotBlitz and you are set for a blocking FB.

That's a good point but 60 spd, agl and blk with 50 str is fine.

I would think agil is just as important as spd or blk.

Agi needs to be capped@48...figured it went without saying...Having it 2nd capped is ideal but takes a back seat to the other things I listed IMO.

I disagree with that...FB also needs to be able to pass block, need agility for that. 8 in lead blocking with 4 cap blocking doesn't really get you much further than what half of that gets you.

So the real question is order. If we want to get blk to the 4th cap, agil to the first 16 in SAs and 90+ speed? That's going to take 40+ levels.

I agree. I think agil is the single most important att for the FB and nothing needs to be to the 4th cap.

I say it depends on what kind of FB you want to be.
Lead blocker- Strength, agility, blocking, strength, speed.
Pass blocker- blocking, agility, strength, blocking, agility, speed.
Of course, they're all interchangeable, but a FB has many responsibilities.

Agility is pretty critical for all of them.

So it brings us back to the original question. Does it matter to get to the caps fast in any single att?
