How do I fix problems with deflections? Passes keep looking like they get dropped but they're getting deflected, about 4 a game.

Jumping, catching, speed, and/or agility. Any of these work depending on competition and how much you're adding.

I have 50 jumping, 97 speed, 62 agility. Clearly that's not working.

I was having the same problem at the beginning of the year. I've put everything I've gotten from leveling this year into catching and I'm already noticing a difference. That would be my advice for you.

Then clearly you want magic to solve the equation for you.

Open up your build and show us you're having success w/50 catching or less or GTFO, IMO.
