Out of curiosity do any teams out there have a team website?

Nope, I wouldnt see why, thats like players having their own myspace.

The only thing I regret a little is that my team likes me to actively remove posts from the forum so that they have as few threads as possible and I believe that I have lost quality scouting info, I should have transferred those threads to other media before I deleted them.

Also, losing game results and etc from last season is also a bit annoying. Bort said that the replays are out there, so all Id have to do is go through and find the games from last season like you find the future games from this season, but that is tedious.

Id really love to be able to go back and see how rivalries changed and the composition of teams/league changed over time.

That would be a good reason to have a website as an archive but I dont see why else you would need it. Maybe you have an idea that I am not thinking of?

I made websites for a Player Dynasty Tracker for NCAA 2008 before we did this, in fact several of my current players had people in that. I had a dynasty website as well for an NCAA 2008 dynasty.

I enjoy organization with stuff like that. I.e awards, bios, stuff like that. Plus it gives us our own chat client so we dont have to deal with all the pm's back and forth

I was thinking about doing one in a few seasons -- see how this game shapes up.

Is just for fun, I keep it up when i have a few minutes between games. Isn't anything special or labor intensive.

I am setting up a site but it is mainly for just the players and even more importantly, the managers. I'm still in programming stage since I've had almost on time last two weeks, but so far it has an interface for the managers to communicate, give scouting info, as well as post requests for trades and etc. so that it's all organized. It also has its own chat client but I'm still messing with it in order to be able to create a lot of seperate rooms for private chats and etc.

The first update was the first day the site had been up. I was swamped at work the first couple days of the season.

Yeah, I know. The above double post is what happens when a two year old has had one of those days that makes 2 year olds infamous and you haven't had much sleep in a few days. Heh.
