i have a + 3 confidence + 1 pancake shirt that i have put 32 bonus tokens in so now it is at
+3 confidence
+4 strength
+3 pancake

but now i have a +1 first step

should I go ahead and sell the pancake gear and put those tokens in my first step gear????

or should I wait and build it up so i can wear both

If you're getting a lot of pancakes I'd keep the first one - if not then it's not really being very useful. I don't really know though, I recently found a +1 first step piece and bought it, but I haven't seen how effective it is yet.

If the first step had +3 as well I'd sell pancake gear and build the first step piece, my FB has just 2 on pancake and gets plenty like that so I'm not sure how good the SA really is. Since it doesn't, it's a bit of a tougher one though so I really dunno :/

+1 first step by itself imo is worthless. a regular speed piece is going to be much more useful. now first step w/ other bonuses of course would be golden.

That first step is probably reaction-Agility / Speed

Pure blocking FB just rolled a +3 blocking with +1 Run Block with the ability to upgrade 5 times to +5 STR +3 Blocking and 3 in run block. My current AE is just a +3 STR piece upgraded to +8 STR. Would take STR down to 88 but put blocking up to 55 plus the SA's. Thoughts?

I'd take the Run Block either way.

First Step is a boost to acceleration and only activates (if it activates at all) when the player is stopped or nearly stopped.

Take run the Run Block SA. FB's don't need huge strength to be great blockers. 88 strength is plenty.

Thanks Xelstyle and Dimo for the response. Took the blocking + Run Block and seemed to have my best game so far.
