East St Louis Tire Fires at Chaiyaphum Gothic:
The Gothic are a strange breed, dressing like they are at a funeral most of the time. For this home game, they will be dressed appropriately, because the Tire Fires plan to lay down a massacre. TIRE FIRES by 28
Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates at Lost City Idols:
Lost City has reminded me that their season is far from over and not to count them out. That is probably true, but this game is probably a foregone conclusion - Idols will disappear this game and the next as well. Hopefully Arles finds them in the Lost and Found bin before a tough week 10 match against the Katanas. PIGSKIN PIRATES by 17
P-Funk Allstars at Macau Gamblers:
The Allstars stopped the music last week to give longtime rivals, Pa Dong, a rise in the standings. This week they get the party restarted, and it promises to be a blowout. ALLSTARS by 30
Kamakura Katanas at Manila Hitmen:
The blades of Kamakura have been sharp this season, but they will have to play at peak performance in order to hone, bone, and chone Manila. The Hitmen have lost just twice this season, and only to the top teams in the conference. One of the few teams with a "60" overall on the scouting bars, I would not be surprised to see this team go undefeated the rest of the regular season. HITMEN by 14
Phuket All at Duluth Bulldogs:
The Bulldogs get their beauty sleep in this week before a big match against the Dragons next week. Pa Dong needs some wins to turn their season around, and they'll be gunning for Duluth. Enjoy the rest and relaxation while it lasts, Duluth. BULLDOGS by 35
Singapore Marauders at Bangkok Seamen:
Bangkok usually manhandles the Marauders, but they've shown some uncharacteristic weakness this season, losing games they'd normally win. This may be Singapore's best chance to finally get some revenge for prior losses, so expect them to take advantage of it. MARAUDERS by 13
Krungthep Garudas at Portland Dirty Penguins:
Portland host Krungthep in one figures to be the battle of the birds. Both teams have struggled this season, with Portland desperately needing to find it's wings and begin erasing a 1-6 start. This will be a good, close game but I think the Garudas will find a way to win it. GARUDAS by 6
Tokyo Whalers at Pa Dong Dragons:
It's nearly inconceivable that a team as good as Pa Dong doesn't have back to back wins yet this season. They'll certainly rectify that with an easy win this week, and if they play their cards right and fight hard, the Dragons could get 3 more wins before a tough week 12 match against the Hitmen.
