Bangkok Tweetys at Hong Kong Highlanders:
The Tweetys are undefeated so far, but have also faced two of the conference's cupcake teams. The next several games will be very tough, and I'll be very impressed if they find a way to get through it without a stumble or two. Highlanders are a good team and have a legitimate shot of winning this one, but I think Bangkok's streak will continue for now. TWEETYS by 6

Port Moresby Titans at Louisiana Screaming Pelicans:
The Titans are in for a whole lot of torture as Louisiana has promised to bring a whole lot of sand to this event. Port Moresby has only one Tight End, but he'll be a sandy, raw Wide Receiver by the final whistle. SCREAMING PELICANS by 35

South Austin Bats at Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas:
Bats may be blind, but even if they can't see the Ho Chi Mean, they'll still feel the heat of the Hot Mamas. Guano won't be the only thing steaming after this inferno strikes. HOT MAMAS by 21

Taiwan Blood Pandas at Yokohama Yaks:
Normally it's an easy pick when a 3-3 and a 5-1 squad meet up, but it's not so clear in this case. I think Taiwan has a lot of fight left in them, and they may be down but they are certainly not out. BLOOD PANDAS by 12

Awendaw ToadFish at Singapore Bulls:
The Toadfish had an excellent victory over the Highlanders, but it's been nothing but frustration for them before and after. They're too good a team to go long without a second win, but I think the Bulls may be a little too much for them to handle. BULLS by 7

Semarang Red Bulls at Hong Kong Hustlers:
The Hustlers try all their usual tricks to win, but find it hard to distract Semarang. The Red Bulls see only one thing and they're charging full steam ahead for it. RED BULLS by 3

Colorado Tombstones at Manila Warlords:
Next up on the Tombstone's "Death and Defeat - Colorado style" tour is Manila. The Warlords will appreciate another notch in the W column as they prepare for a pivotal Awendaw game next week. WARLORDS by 35

Singapore Flames at 4077th M*A*S*H:
Singapore has had a disastrous start to the season, and are hungry to get a winning streak going. The 4077th is just what the doctor ordered, another nice dose of Morale for dangerous Flames squad. FLAMES by 35

Good game Ho Chi Mean. If only our kicker could have made that 64 yarder....

Fool got the Bulls/ToadFish game exactly right. I'd like to say it was a good game, and the ToadFish played a good game, but (especially the last 10 minutes or so) was some of the most F'd up simming I've seen. We were very, very lucky to win considering the 5-1 TO differential, and it wouldn't have happened but for the end-of-game shenanigans).

ETA: To appease Rusty Trombone and his fellow Guardians of GLB Honor and Virtue, we apologize if the use of the phrase "F'd up simming" offended anyone's sensibilities. What should have been written was that we received the benefit of several lucky roles of the RNG. We neither meant to state or imply that there is now, that there ever has been or that there ever will be, anything wrong with the GLB sim. We regret the error and apologize for all any pain and suffering that we may have caused.

We've always had close games going back to AAA. That was a bruiser, back and forth decided in the last 2 minutes.
Pro is getting tougher.
