Has anyone used either Tenacious or Bruiser? My recieving TE has 94 speed (w bonus), 53 catching, 54 strength and agility. 3 in Low SHoulder SA.

bruiser _ x 3% bonus to break tackles
tenacious _ x 2% chance for extra yards when tackler is on wrap up

I'm thinking it might be good with my relatively high strength (for a receiver). Maybe 5 in each.

I'm using Tenacious. I don't see results even if I have 10 on it.

It maybe a bad decision on my part, but it can also mean that I still lack something else on my build to make it work. Still in the process of figuring out.

LBs and SSes are less likely to be set on Wrap-Up tackling

therefore I don't think that Tenacious is a great ability for a TE

I also have 10 in Tenacious and have seen absolutely nothing. Then again I have a blocking TE but does see the ball thrown his way. I personally think it is a waste and if I can do it again I would go with 10 in clutch instead.

I dont agree with this. Mostly LB's cover the TE and most LB's are set to wrap up tackling. So it even prooves more that tenacious it poop.

Very few people risk the minuscule fumble % increase to miss more tackles. I've only heard of a few people who tried balanced and power on "hard hitting" builds, but they only ended up missing more tackles.

I went balanced tackling 1 game with my SS (who was the teams leading tackler on a 15-1 team..and first game he missed 11 tackles.

Sure it was a great RB but SOOOO not worth it.

Im betting 90%+ SS's go with wrap up. Im pretty sure i will never go away from that again myself.

I have a fairly balanced TE (leans towards Run support) that I'm going to try to use the Bruiser Skill. I only have 2 VA pts in it so far, so we shall see.

I got a blocking TE and I like to think he does his job of giving the HB plenty of room to move.

The HB on the team my TE is on has 2404 yrds and 44 TD

I got 10 in Bruiser and 10 in Tenaciuos

Strength = 84 with equipment
speed 51
agility 53
blocking 60

Blocking SA = 5 5 3 3 4

I think a TE can go pure blocking if the team has a pure receiving TE too.

Er? You know that Bruiser and Tenacious are for ball carriers?
