Warrior General Games

Okay, the bracket is set up. Since we have to get through 4 rounds before the championship, we should start sending challenges now. If you are the higher seed in the bracket, you are the home team and you should send the challenge. Please post here the results of each game. I would like to get the first round completed by January 24, so please keep that in mind. If a team fails to send a challenge or accept a challenge, they will forfeit that game and the other team will move on. I used a simple formula to calculate seeds, based on wins, losses, overall rating, points scored per game, and points allowed per game, through the first five games of the season.

Why the hell is this being done so early in the season!!!

All the boosted teams have a huge advantage right now, its 5 games too early! We lost 3 games to all these teams with OVER 20 players boosted 3 levels above ours! They still have an advantage in this tourny.....

Take a look 7-8 of the top 10 teams are full of level 7's!!!

I think this is a non-boosting tournament right? that means the level 7s and shit have to sit

that was my understanding to be fair, if that is the case I am not sure I want to be in it.

Also, people won't boost until playoffs, and we wouldn't have time to do a tournament and playoffs at the same time. I understand the dilemma, but this is really the only way we can do such a tournament imo.

Ideally, I wanted to wait until everyone had boosted, and the teams were even, but with 32 teams that would be nearly impossible to get the whole thing done before the playoffs. When it comes to individual matchups, if you want to remove boosted players, I would encourage that, but I can't be policing every game and enforcing that, so it is up to the individual teams. Personally, I won't be asking my opponents to remove boosted players, since I will be beating them regardless
