It was a good game but they won that game with a couple of fluke plays. Maybe 1, the INT that was swatted at the line of scrimage happens from time to time. But when was the last time a punt landed on the head of a blocker for the receiving team? I don't think I've ever seen that. Those two plays killed the momentum that San diego was building.
It was a good game over all but some really weird plays helped the steelers.

You are kidding me, right? When one team has the ball for 37 minutes, they will usually win. The Chargers were finished when they could not stop the run, and couldn't get their defense off the field. Once they tired, the Steelers were able to pass the ball. The Steelers did not "win that game with a couple of fluke plays". They won because they dominated the line of scrimmage.

U can't bring up time of posession without talking about the 3rd quarter when the chargers had the ball for all of 17seconds. That's 15 minutes of the 37 ur talking about. Its not like pit grinded out some 99 yd drive that lasted the whole quarter. The INT came after a huge kick return by sproles, and u can't say a play like that doesn't fire up the offense. Seriously, nobody expects INTs like that. There is no way u were on ur couch yelling at the d line to knock the ball straight up in the air so that a LB could pick it off. That was the kind of play that happens a couple of times a month across the entire NFL. And u probably haven't ever seen a kick land on a blockers head like that. Balls bounce off somebodies leg or the kick returner screws up but for it land on some dudes head, come on u gotta admitt that's kind of a fluke.
Look, I think either way the steelers win the game because they were rested and were beating up on the chargers up front. But I think it's a much closer game without those two flukie turnovers.

Umm... it happens often enough that defenders usually practice tip drills. The D-line is trained to get their hands up and knock the ball up, and the LBs and CBs are trained to get under it and catch it. It's a whole lot more then just luck.

No, that's a mistake by the punt returner. They practice that in drills, too. A team is only as good as it's weakest link.
Neither of those were "flukes."

it was obvious that the steelers raped them pretty much the entire game, minus the first charger drive

I respected Polamalu until he said the NFL was becoming a pansy game. But perhaps he was just making a public introspection, and in that case I respect him even moreso. I may need some guidance on this

when troy speaks, it means he really really cares. i can only think of two instances where he spoke up.
1) nfl is becoming a pansy league
2) gatorade sucks

I believe he said that b/c of the punk ass roughing the passer penalty he got b/c his hands were near Rivers' head. He didn't even hit him hard enough for his head to move. Was a pansy type call if you ask me. I say the QB should have to be able to take a hit like the rest of the guys.

It's just not consistent though. He shouldn't cry about Larry Johnson dragging him down by him pompom, because being upset about that is a pansy move as well. So Polamalu could be the typical human hypocrite, or he could be just making a statement about how complex our society is. I'm not sure, do you know?
