What's the highest that any of you have raised Catching to? What kind of results have you seen with it?

my catching is just over 25, I got it there when I was the 3rd TE. Last season he caught 40 passes & had 7 drops.

I pushed my Catching up to the high-20's (I'm lvl 42) a couple of seasons ago when our OC was enamored w/ the dump pass. Since the new wore off, I'm getting 1-2 catches per season, but I don't have any drops, either.
Basically, I wasted a ton of SP.

38 FB, Mid 20's in catching. All from training.
Last season made 16 catches with 1 drop. 221 yards and 4 TD's.
This season made 6 catches with no drops. 74 yards and 1 TD.

35, on my lvl 44 FB. Mostly from training, but since it was my first GLB player I really had no clue and put a few points there early on. Doesn't get used in the passing game though, so quite a waste

My FB has it trained up to 31 and has 5 in sticky hands. He doesn't get many targets, but usually catches when thrown to. 44/47 for his career.

42.15 Catching for my L:46 FB, he makes a nice 5th WR.
I will stop at 48, unless he becomes a TE.
His "slowness" works in his favor much of the time.

Sometimes it is like they wait for the WR(my FB) to enter their zone before they react.
These are his receiving highlights all from the 2nd half of the same game.
The mercy rule may have gone into effect but when he is the #5 WR this is how he gets his receptions usually.

It helps create separation between the defenders. If you have 2 guys running the same routes at the same speed, the QB is going to be throwing into traffic.

Is this a FB or WR thread?
My guy has a 70 some yard TD reception after blowin up a CB or SS, but I'm more proud of his lead blocking and making a hole for the Glory Boy to make a 50 yard TD. Breaking the tackles of MLB for 2-3 yards on 3rd and short is what my FB is all about.
Sticky Hands is just a waste to get to Power Thru. Admit it, when he does make the catch, (if he catches it, job for WR) he may only get no extra yards if one. I'll leave the recieving to those with 80's for speed, 50's agility maybe 60's, 60's for catching and 50's for vision. Too many attributes for FB to deal with. I'd rather have a WR at half the level at WR than a FB.
Sorry hit your thread and go all "off topic" on ya. But if your puttin major points into recieving, I think your wasting them. Not to mention the Out of Position penalty you get for having him play elsewhere.
Take it for what it's worth, my FB is only a level 32. But, I think he's pretty good for the FB position.
