So, I'm pretty used to building Corners which when it comes to tackling and strength aren't very... Well, experimenting with it or trying to test them out is useless. A strong corner is just a CB you have to bench for being burnt every other play.
My point is, I'm wondering if Strength and Tackling are completely needed in exact proportion of one another. What I mean to say is, has anyone made a Safety build as just said "**** strength, I'll load into tackling"? Or the other way around? Does one NEED the other?
My thought is that strength more effects hard hits and forcing fumbles while tackling is tackling. Have 50 tackling at 20 strength you'll still tackle with the same frequency as a player with 50/50 but with less fumbles caused.
Again, I have never tested this, and my career with CB's has never had me think about this. So... Am I close? Is one useful without the other, or do they need to be together?
