I'm super slow building an elusive back and I'm wondering what I should do. Right now I've got speed softcapped and I'm not quite sure where exactly to go from now. Should I softcap agility, or 2nd cap speed with my next few levels of SP? Then, if I take the 2nd cap speed route, would it be a good idea to 3rd cap speed before softcapping agility?

Here is how the scenario would work out: at lvl 8, speed could be at 61 with about 4 SP left, then at lvl 12 speed could be at 68 with 3 SP left. Just wondering if this worth trying or if I should take the softcap speed, softcap agility, 2nd cap speed, 2nd cap agility route instead.

3rd cap speed, 3rd cap agility

3rd cap speed first, then work agility to 1st cap then 2nd cap then 3rd cap? Or get agility to caps at the same time as speed (alternating between the 2)?

Someone on the d-line forum worked out the numbers and found that the best plan would be:

first cap speed
first cap agility
second cap speed
second cap agility
third cap speed
third cap agility

as opposed to the 'straight to 2nd/3rd cap with first attribute' method.

You mean you're slow building. If you're level 4, and you've already applied SP, you're not super slow building.

Ya, but isn't super-slow building considered as not gaining any experience at all from games, and all experience up to lvl 13 is from daily training? If not, then it must be called something else, but that's what I'm doing.

Do people boost when they are slow building? or super slow building?

I think it depends on personal preference. If you are aiming to slow build for a capped 13 team in a certain season and you are getting XP from a D-League, then you should figure out how many times you can possibly boost in order to get to lvl 13 by the time you join that capped team.

For what I'm doing, I'm not going to boost in order to go the longest amount of time before I get to lvl 13 so that my player can be as good as possible for the capped 13 team. This is not a good idea if you want to be competitive in higher up leagues, but it's all for great capped 13 performance.

You boost at the very end of the season. If you are still below level 4 or so at the end of the season, I wouldn't boost because those levels are so blazingly fast that the boost would just be a waste of flex imo. This is supposing you are actually playing in games. But if you choose not to do the boosts then you might miss out on some levels because of the vet xp now making the balance between slow building and fast leveling a factor.

Do you guys think it wise to split EQ for Speed/Agili for a true elusive back?

Personally, I do, but most elusive backs seem to focus their equip to get speed to 100.

I would have it pretty split, but a little more emphasis on speed. Maybe your custom +2 equip in speed, and the other 2 in agility.

I have 8 slow builders you can reference if you'd like.
C, G, G, OT, OT, QB, HB, WR
Though my HB is combo, not elusive.

Here's the HB (all the builds are open including his):
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=919092 8 SP are saved and 3 TP currently, so another train tomorrow

If you didn't know already, it'll take you 4 seasons to do it. You'll play on your fifth, and you'll be level 12 that offseason. One game will take you to 13 (or 16 if you boost to 15)

IMO agility along side speed, vision not to far behind for elusiveback.
