East St Louis Tire Fires at Pa Dong Dragons:
The Tires are on fire, and they certainly know how to roll. Look out below, Pa Dong, or you could get steamrolled. Pa Dong (and many other top teams) are still a season or two away from being able to compete with these guys. TIRE FIRES by 21

Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates at Macau Gamblers:
If I was a betting man, then I'd gamble on Macau missing the playoffs. Their chances of winning this game are slim to none, and the rest of the season doesn't look much brighter for them. Hope they enjoyed the Phuket game, it's going to be a rough ride from here on out. PIGSKIN PIRATES by 27

Phuket All at Manila Hitman:
Undefeated Manila should zoom to the top of the rankings after demolishing this gutted team. Enjoy the stat massage this week, Hitman.. You have some tough games coming up in the weeks ahead. HITMAN by 35

Krungthep Garudas at P-Funk Allstars:
The Allstars have enjoyed a great start in Season 7 and are leading the newcomers from AAA#1 with some great game performances. The Garudas have stumbled coming out of the gates, losing their last two games by 4 points. They'll have to get back on track quick if they intend to make the postseason. GARUDAS by 3

Kamakura Katanas at Tokyo Whalers:
It's Japanese civil war as the Katanas and Whalers go at it this week. I anticipate a one-sided battle, as Kamakura's Katanas should make quick work of the Whalers' Harpoons. KATANAS by 30

Singapore Maruaders at Portland Dirty Penguins:
PDP is a good team and they're not used to losing so early and often. They enjoyed a blowout win against Phuket last week, and hopefully that has soothed their damaged morale. They'll need a positive outlook and a great game plan to handle the Marauders, who have looked fantastic since their week 1 close loss to LSP. MARAUDERS by 7

Lost City Idols at Duluth Bulldogs:
The Bulldogs were barking up the wrong tree their first couple games this season with their defensive AI particularly lacking. They've since changed things around and are coming off a close victory over Krungthep. The Idols usually win this matchup if you check the teams' history, but I think the balance of power is starting to swing Duluth's way. BULLDOGS by 9

Bangkok Seamen at Chaiyaphum Gothic:
I can tell you right now, the Seamen did not expect to be 1-2 heading into week 4. Despite the losses they're a top team and I fully expect them to turn things around and will take out some of their frustrations on Chaiyaphum. The Gothic will have plenty to be depressed about after this game. SEAMEN by 12

Good predictions fool

This game is big for Pa Dong if we want to show that we can compete. Can't wait to match up with ESL after that brutal loss to Bandar..

Yeah, GG. But we got a hosed a bit:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=291652&pbp_id=4041302

If that play happens at 2:01, we run goal line and win the game. Instead, it happens at 1:56 and Bort's "canned 2 minute offense" crap set kicked in for the fourth quarter. It's my fault for not checking that, but throw in the two fluky INTs for TDs (one that was over 100 yards) and fumbled kick after the safety and you scratch your head. It's tough to lose a game where you outgain your opponent 437 to 216, but the "laws of Bort" were against us today.

Still, great game from you guys and it was a fun game to watch (until the 4th and < 1 ).

6-2 this week with the Gothic and Allstars both playing fantastic games to stymie my quest for 8-0.

Shit happens week in and week out. Its a sim. Certain plays were no more a fluke than they were a great play by the other team.

After every game there's always things both coaching staffs pick up on and adjust to fine tune the squad. Things they could have done better or things they might have missed.

If I had to go back through the sim I can find various cases where if we had done something else on a given down and distance the outcome of the end game would have been just as significant!

Turn overs happen and can trigger momentum changes at the craziest moments! It certainly goes both ways!

Blaming Bort when both teams are playing the same sim is silly!
