What do you guys make of this? The description says that Juke "is more effective than a Head Fake". So one would think that, if it fires, it is better.

But then it goes on to say "it takes more agility to be pulled off SUCCESSFULLY". So can Juke fire, BUT the player does not have enough agility for it to actually work on the defender? Or does it require a certain amount of agility to fire, but when it does it works?

Or does this mean that a player with, say 60 agility, can pull off both, but his head fakes are more effective than his Jukes?

Or have the Veteran Skills just proven that, actually, we cannot rely on the wording of the SAs at all?

Quick cut did last season. Have yet to see it this time around.

I would still have points in Quick Cut and First Step but I wouldn't go near Juke/Head Fake. Aside from gutted teams where you outlevel the defender by 10-20 lvls you aren't going to fake out any LB/CB/S, and I say this as the owner of an elusive back with 9 Juke, 80+ agility, +10% fake chance AE, and +30% fake chance from Quick Feet.

They do. It's just that everyone and their mother made speed/agility offensive players, so naturally the defense did the same along with vision. Therefore they may get faked out but they recover very fast from the really high vision/agility. Henceforth why Power Backs are so "overpowered" because everyone neglected strength and tackling to stop the insane speed builds.

It'll all even out with the influx of Strength backs that is undoubtedly growing in the building ranks. Defenders will have to take a more balanced route.

Just because you don't score a touchdown every time they fire off doesn't mean that they don't work. They will get you extra yards and maybe that vital first down.

Well, Bort helped out elusive players with his last update yesterday. Juke/Head Fake actually fake other players now (he apparently had 'fake duration' set to zero, so even if you faked the opponent they would instantly recover).

What a crock of sht. Sounds like relics of the old season 2 head fake nerf.

Yes, went from like NEVER running for more than 4 yards to actually breaking a 23 yarder. Not a huge difference, but some.
