Finally, the season has started! A lot of great games were played a quite a few guys really showed what they got and made a name for themselves. The rankings have changed slightly but nothing much at the top of the leader board.

EASTERN CONFERENCE WEEK 1 POWER RANKINGS

1. New Jersey Revolution (1-0)

No surprise here. The Revolution took care of business and won 161-21 over an easy CPU team. QB RJ Stew put up big numbers going 27/30 with 426 passing yards and 7 TD's. Also, RB Bo Suletki had a monster game with 252 rushing yards on only 12 rushes. He also had 7 TD's (6 rush, 1 rec).

2. Kentucky Bootleggers (1-0)

The Bootleggers got off to a fast start with a 78.5 yard kickoff return for a TD by James O'Donnell to start off the game. The Bootleggers handed it to a low rated team, 128-21. The star of the game was Bootleggers WR Jason Gram who had 7 catches for 213.5 yards and 4 TD's.

3. Windy City Express (1-0)

The Express DESTROYED a CPU team 202-0 today. They had no chance to do anything. The Express put up 931 yards of total offense while the Woodchippers had -62 yards of total offense. The star of the show was PR Eric PatrickJohnson who had 5 punt returns for a TD. Also, RB Ronnie Brown and RB Lytning Bolt combined for 623 rushing yards. Great game guys.

4. Sin City Saints (1-0)

The Saints showed the Pirates were no match for them. The Saints overpowered them to win 69-10. "Hall of Fame" RB Earl Campbell was the player of the game in this one. He rushed for 252.5 yards on 25 carries with 5 TD's. The Sin City defense also recorded 11 sacks.

5. St. Louis Assassins (1-0)
6. Chesapeake Sea Serpents (1-0)
7. Dirty South Brew Crew (0-1)
8. Brigantine Greenheads (0-1)
9. Detroit Kiss-My-Anthians (0-1)
10. Alex's Ball Minions whoop whoop (0-1)

I was hoping to read something about the Assassins. Guess we'll just have to knock off the other 4 teams.

Sorry, I am just doing summaries on the top four teams at the moment.

Sokay whitebear...solid summaries; I hope my HB will at least be leading the conference for 1 week with 8 TD's. I'd like to brag about my team but really it's all about my GM's..solid game plan executed.

Minor update: I just saw the Kansas City Fockers were sold, moving them down to #14 in the power rankings

So the #1 team in the league gave up 21 points to a CPU team?

Say what you want about the rankings, but our starters were out before the first quarter was up, when we were up 50+
If our starters were in the whole game..hell, even to half time, no doubt we'd be at the top of these rankings.

Oh well, there's time for that later! I'm circling week 5 on our calendar as our arrival party I guess...

Hey, just prove yourself when you play these guys. They did nothing to lose their #1 ranking.

If you saw the play by play, you'd notice that we returned 6 punts for TDs. By the time the 4th quarter hit, most of the team had played 90+ on defense. Sorry I haven't been able to build much depth.

Maybe we shouldn't be so good on special teams.

Damn, everyone get's all butthurt when you decide to talk a little trash..

Anyway, yeah 14 of the CPU team you played came in the 4th quarter, but they did score a TD in the 2nd quarter too.. Also, as far as your depth goes..I didn't even see how bad that was..don't you think that should factor in to the rankings as well?
Oh and as for your great returns..the team you were playing didn't have any returners set up, so the AI randomly picked players to go out there.

Like I said..it's no problem, I was just saying that since our starters were out by the end of the first quarter, maybe we should be ranked a little higher..but again, we'll mark that first game against one of the "top four" on the calendar and see after that game..

Anyway, good luck the rest of the year, till you play us.
