im currently making an extreme speed back. i want this guy to have high speed. by level 24 i figure ill have about 115 speed with equipment. im curently debating on how much agility to go with. i see this guy as a change of pace back, catching screens out of the backfield, returning kicks etc... right now i have 85ish speed with only 23 agility (which im training and will continue to train the whole season). right now my guy seems to run in slo-mo even though he hs tons of speed due to the lack of agility. if i got first step to 10 and quickcut to 10 how much agility would i really need in the end? would 2nd cap or 3rd cap due? or do i need to pump it to the moon? or do you think there is no substitute for agility?

Honestly, there is no substitute for Agility.

But there is a certain point, to where it is much more valuable to put points into first step/Quick cut, instead of Agility.. But I'm still trying to determine exactly where that number is.

you might want to rethink this, speedbacks didn't look to hot today

115 speed by 24? If you can hit that target, I doubt that you will have many SP's to put toward anything else. Subtracting the equipment, you are going to need 93(?) base speed which will put you at the 13/1 cap. I guess I'll believe it when I see it.

lets rephrase this, Higher level speedbacks didn't do very well today.

yeah your right i think i did a major miscalculation. i think i added equipment twice. i could have only about 103ish speed at lvl 24 with equipment if i put every point into speed. putting me at 82ish natural speed.

is elusive or balanced the way to go then? maybe get speed to 5 to 1 cap then go agility?

Reasonably balanced builds will always work...the players of the min/max game keep getting hammered every season. Hmm.

just softcap Agility and then put a few points into FS&QC. It sure does beat the hell out of getting AGI to 68 or getting FS+QC to 10. I'd say 6 FS and QC to go with 49 AGI is a nice target to aim for.
